  1. 16 wins in three and a half seasons and ya'll wanna hang banners and give out trophies for the hardest workers. That's cute.
  2. I heard when he isn't laid up in Olivia Culpo's baby maker that Christian McCaffrey is the hardest working running back there ever was. 200% effort every snap. DJ Moore could learn a thing or two from such a committed athlete.
  3. Wasn't Rhule supposed to be a little bit of both? It's why some of us were iffy right away when he went with an all defensive draft.
  4. I mean it's what's going to happen if he's healthy we know it we can lie to ourselves but we've seen it with three coaches. At what point do you start to pull your hair out and say okay let's build a real sustainable offense?
  5. Apparently he's just been upping the ante as of late acting like a damn fool. What a waste of talent.
  6. Yeah let's keep him for a rookie so we can see another head coach get fired for trying to sustain an offense built around McCaffrey accounting for 80% of the offense.
  7. Based on results we have several overpaid players. RA was one of them Moore is becoming one of them Shaq is one of them even Moton hasn't been playing too well he's overpaid and you may not want to talk about it but CMC is way overpaid for our highest win output to continually be 5 wins and us to labor week in and week out to score a measly 20 points at best. If all those players can get the smoke from the fanbase we can talk truths about your favorite running back. And yes like Peyton Hillis before him some people treat him like some unicorn first ballot hall of famer because he is one of the very few of his shade playing the position when honestly an RB like Ekeler who is similar in skill set is more productive and helps his team win more often. Enough is enough with this damn fantasy that McCaffrey and only McCaffrey can be be engine of our offense. Some people are profoundly delusional and it's been years of this. Get a real QB here. Build a real offense. One that involves multiple playmakers and versatility. I've said really all I can say it's like talking to a wall with some of these die hards the only thing I can compare it to is the fans who still think Cam might come back and lead us somewhere. It's time to accept and try something else.
  8. If they trusted PJ so little they should have just started Eason and took their lumps.
  9. Right we have no choice we would absorb like 30 plus million in dead money moving him the first year of that huge deal. We better get on buttering him up now.
  10. No use complaining about the level of compensation. We guaranteed this outcome eventually when we inked him to that deal when we didn't even have a starting quarterback on the roster yet and our OL was crap. He was worth more then than he will ever be now. Just such foolishness with how we've gone about building this team.
  11. Meanwhile our locker room is going to poo and we've got one disgruntled WR gone and another in DJ Moore we have to find some way to placate. But yay the CMC stans get to rub one out thinking about how many total yards he's gonna get in garbage time in yet another wasted season.
  12. Oh god we're back on the all purpose yards stuff again? We have the weirdest copes in this fanbase.
  13. I guess someone with the team might want to clue Brian Burns in on this then.
  14. We're just wading into the semantics waters at this point. I would caution you about making assumptions like that this early in the season. There are 11 more games and that's a long ride. And hey furthermore as far as assuming a team is a contender perhaps too early we kinda have some experience with that ourselves with that Kyle Allen win streak and starting 3-0 with Darnold.
  15. The Shaq Thompson situation is somewhat manageable but whatever is going on with Brian Burns is another matter altogether after the Ram social media stunt. Maybe he's just trying to send the Panthers a message but it doesn't inspire any confidence in how things might go if we were to ink him to a huge contract extension.
  16. The thinking about the draft part was in reference to some of the rest of the teams in the top ten of the list. Like us the Browns the Saints and maybe even the Packers unless Rodgers suddenly wakes up and he's 25 again. Unless you would like to dispute all of that too while you're at it.
  17. We're 6 games into the season there's a long ways to go bud. Dallas has already been one and done recently in the playoffs via a very embarrassing meltdown their QB has been hurt the Vikings have yet to advance any further similarly the Titans were dispatched quickly last season and haven't looked quite as formidable as they did a few seasons ago. The Chargers could make a run but do you feel confident in that? That leaves the Giants so you think their ready to make the jump to Super Bowl contention this season? Cool.
  18. You're just going to omit the part literally right before that asking how many Super Bowl contending teams have a running back top 5 in salary? If you just want to bash each other let's give it a go but surely we can come up with something better than this?
  19. The Bengals are the only team in the top 10 of that list to get a Super Bowl appearance. I get you're a homer but you're digging deep here if you think any of those other teams you mentioned are legit Super Bowl contenders.
  20. I agree with pretty much everything you've said here. The sad truth of the matter is much of our failures are so very self inflicted. And when you get down to it I legitimately think some fans here could have made better decisions than the brain trust we had with Matt Rhule. But at the center of it was Rhule's glaring apprehensiveness toward drafting his own QB. When we finally did we acted as if he were a burden when giving him practice reps and then we got him beaten up. Wherever we go from here please let it involve bringing in a coach with real experience at developing talent in the national football league (not college).
  21. There was a time when I was willing to eviscerate Teddy Bridgewater but when you move past his lack of deep ball and penchant for taking the easy passes you have to acknowledge some things. We did at least move the ball up and down the field more often and that was with Matt Rhule Joe Brady and hey how about this known jag RB Mike Davis in McCaffrey's absence. That's the best our offense has looked in almost three years and we didn't have disgruntled receivers and we didn't have to forcefeed McCaffrey. We never should have traded Teddy if all we were going to go after was the likes of Sam Darnold. That's on Rhule and Fitterer who for some reason quite a few people want to give a free pass to.
  22. Dude! Cam Newton led the team in rushing yards that season. How are you going to begin your post calling me out for overlooking things but cherry pick something like that? We have never won more than 5 games with McCaffrey as the primary weapon we can argue about circumstances but these are the facts.
