I really didn’t think they’d find a trade good enough for him but I guess this fits their bill. It’s a good haul, great even, but will it be enough to replace CMC here? No. I’m not thrilled about it and I probably won’t be until the draft order is finalized at the end of the season. But…. I am glad they are embracing the tank FINALLY. This is what they should have been doing from day 1 of Tepper’s regime. Collect a bunch of draft capital and start from scratch with a good head coach and a shiny new QB. It’s happening now.

It's a shame about Young's size because he's an absurdly talented QB, having said that, it does hold him back in my eyes at the NFL level. I'm not sure how you can pass on CJ Stroud if you are taking a QB at #1 overall pick, he checks all the boxes. Hell I'd think about taking Hendon Hooker over Young too because of how small Young is. Levis is a complete afterthought to me, no clue how people think he is better than Young, Stroud, Hooker at all. He's Ryan Tannehill at best.

I don't get trading this guy, he's better than what we'd get in return and he's a leader in the clubhouse. Just let him ride out the contract here and send him on his merry way.

I really wouldn't trade anyone except for Robbie and some depth players. I'd like to actually keep our good ones we have under contract. It's part of what makes the job a little more enticing to HC prospects.

Biggest takeaway is that he himself said he fired Snow and had no qualms about it. Really gives some juice to the rumors of strain between the two of them. Rhule's tenure was a disasterclass behind the scenes and it showed up every Sunday.

Mike LaFleur was OC for the Jets last year as well was he not? Also this list kind of leaves out the 50 year old guys which is a good age for a HC i think. Of this list: 1. Sean Payton . . 2. Shane Steichen 3. Ben Johnson
