Are blocks in the back not a thing anymore?

Maybe if we drafted a quarterback that could operate under center it would be a little harder for the defense to predict what’s the offense is about to do. our offense is 95% shotgun. Get under center and slow the pass rush down with some damn play action.

Why are people acting like he’s a five year vet? The kid is 23 playing his second NFL season. Everyone knew he was a raw pass blocker coming out but had huge potential. He’s shown plenty of flashes and is going through the typical sophomore slumps.

The closest QB on the graph to Bryce is Justin Herbert. He has 2349 passing yards and 17 TDs. He’s nearly doubled Bryce’s passing stats with less turnovers. This chart is incredibly misleading and doesn’t paint the picture some of you are wanting it to.

Not 100% but you’re in denial if you don’t think it’s a major factor. What other reason would you give as to why there has hardly been any successful QBs under 6ft in the history of the NFL?

We’re the worst team in the league in large part because of said rookie QB.

This team could bring in prime Don Shula and it wouldn’t matter. There’s nothing really much you can do to make up for Bryce’s physical disadvantages. There’s a reason there has only been a few successful QBs under 6ft to play in the NFL.

And my point is if Davis Mills was still their starter the team would still suck and no one would be talking about how well they constructed their roster around their QB.

They Won this week and last week because CJ Stroud lead 2 crazy game winning drives. Texans defense gave up a combined 64 points in those two games. It’s incredibly hard to win in the NFL letting the opposing teams score like that. Going back to my original point, Texans lose both of those games with Davis Mills under center.

If Davis Mills was under center for this same Texans team they’d be lucky to have 2 wins. Good QB play makes everything around them look better. Bad QB play makes everything look worse.

We have the worst talent evaluators in the league.

As soon as Bryce showed up to the combine just to weigh in with an extra 20 pounds of water weight should have been all teams needed to see to take him off their first round draft board. The choice to take CJ at 1 should have been cemented right then and there.

The fact that Frank rather have Eddy try to make a 59 yarder in soldier field than Bryce try to convert a 4th and 10 should tell everyone all you need to know about what he thinks of our QB. I think that was his way of saying fug you to Tepper.

Bitch about Frank and Fitt all you want. Idgaf if they’re fired but Jesus Christ himself wouldn’t be able to turn Bryce Young into an NFL quarterback.

Jesus Bryce is fuging terrible idc what anyone says. The guy needs to sit. He’s no where near ready to be starting.

This team is screwed if LaMelo keeps playing like this. Chucking up deep 3s and fouling instead of learning to play proper defense is going to lead to a lot of L’s. He’s 8 months removed from ankle surgery. Hoping he’s just still trying to shake the rust off and not getting lazy because he inked that fat extension.

Burns needs a running mate on the D line. Sucks everyone we’ve drafted for that role has yet to work out. Also Justin Houston has been a bust of a signing. Don’t even get me started at the decision to trade up for DJ Johnson.

Random guys you’re not expecting become available every offseason. Saying trading Burns is the only way to get a legit WR is just plain stupid. Could have had Hopkins for nothing more than money this offseason. Having two savvy vets in Hopkins and Thielen would have been huge for Bryce. Unfortunately our owner thinks Bryce is a point guard who doesn’t need weapons on offense to be successful.

Hope Tepper and Goodell are getting a good look at how terrible our turf is.
