I really like Fields but you can’t pass on Sewell if he is there. If Darnold sucks take a QB next year. At least the Oline will be ready to protect a rookie QB.
-
If Sewell is gone here go all in for Fields.

Left tackle or riot.

Cam Newton and Patrick Mahomes. They have done things I have never seen any other QBs do before. I guess this all depends on one’s definition of physically talented.

What is your first three round mock and why

1. Sewell or Slater. 2. Jackson Carman 3. Josh Myers Edit: Just give me a LT in round one, OG/OT round two and a OG/C round three. -
Draft the top LT at 8 and start Grier. Grab our new QB next draft.

You can find videos of Trevor Lawrence doing the same thing. Footwork is one of the most common things QBs have to work on when coming into the NFL.

That alley-oop windmill by Miles to end the game. Good golly miss Molly.

Run a post route and if the DB gets to close to you flail your arms up and wait for that yellow flag to get thrown. Both leagues have this problem because they are making harder to play defense in the name of safety. One league is actively trying to find a way to combat the issue. The other seems to be getting worse year after year.

David Stern wanted to change the image of the NBA in the early 2000s after the malice in the palace incident. Fights on the court were nearly a nightly occurrence up to that point. Both the NBA and NFL have made major changes to their rules in the name of player safety that you could argue are making the leagues “soft”.

That’s is from 5+ years ago. Adam Silver has been doing as much as he can to get flopping like that out of the game. If you flop now you can expect a fine to be coming your way in the next few days. Players will do whatever they can to gain a competitive advantage over another team. Just like in the NFL. There is no consistency with things like pass interference and holding. Hell if NFL players are starting to flop to get calls. It happens at least once a game now where a receiver will flail his arms and fall down mid route trying to get a PI call after the slightest contact.

I don’t care what the tape shows. Avoid Alabama QBs like the plague. There hasn’t been a franchise QB to come out of that school since the 50s or 60s.

Lamelo's basketball instincts are making him an actual respectable defender. When he gets more acclimated to the defensive rotations and assignments, while putting more weight on his frame he is going to be a nightmare for smaller one and two guards. If I am not mistaken he is top 5 in the league in steals currently. and to think his biggest knock coming into the draft was that he couldn't play defense. Crazy.

This team is fuging incredible. Absolutely no quit in them. Have no idea how we managed to win that. 115-123 with 56 seconds left. Hornets win 127-126. LETS fuging GOOOO!

So what if you don't make any moves and stay the course and still suck? This is like choosing a mystery box vs a million bucks. Some would squander away the million and not have much to show for it and others could turn the million into a billion. Mystery box could have a billion in it but it also could turn out to be dog poo.

Todd McShay mocks us to trade up with Miami to get Trey Lance
Eazy-E replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
Every QB in this draft is a huge risk outside of Trevor. Just stay at 8 and take who falls. If the top 4 QBs are gone then draft the best LT available. I rather live through another season of Teddy than knowing fuging Ron Rivera cost us a first round pick and then some for one meaningless win. Only reason this team should be considered giving up draft capital is for a proven commodity. -
Per Joe Person: players Panthers would like to re-sign
Eazy-E replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
He got that deal because of the Buffalo Carolina connection. Only team I can see that would offer more than what I imagine the extension Samuel turned down would be the Giants for the same reasons.
