It really makes no sense how we are a completely different team in the playoffs. What are the coaches thinking, saying, doing that causes such a huge change? Do their game plans just go massively conservative? Are they telling their guys to conserve their energy? It does seem that way and that they also tell their guys to keep passing the puck and only shooting when they have an open lane. On the other hand, when we do shoot in bunches they are always in the chest of the goal tender and not good shots at all. I dont understand this team at all come playoff time. Its like everyone just gets dumb and thats 100% coaching.

Idc. Doing the same thing over and over again is not getting us a Cup. Its one thing if we were playing like we should and still lose, but we are not. Yeah if we lose this series, barring a tremendous comeback, Rod shouldnt be brought back. If Dundon wants to bring him back, it should only be for 1 more year that gives Rod a chance to change. The complete 180 this team does come playoff time is frustrating to say the least. No matter who we add, the same goal scorers that have been with us for this playoff streak all go silent. The powerplay is non-existent, even after having the 2nd best this regular season. Our defense, which is one of the best in the league, suddenly keeps allowing many open chances. This is all on coaching. If Rod wants to stay, he is going to have to let go of his assistants. Chaining himself to them is holding him back, but if thats how he wants it, then so be it.
