  1. There were reports yesterday on X/Twitter that indicate that, and while it has been rumored I don’t have specific examples like they mention. Benjamin Allbright claims that Tepper once approached an OC with a play he had seen on TV and drew it up and wanted him To implement it. Kyle Bailey claims that the “front office” sat down with Reich a while back and asked him to adjust the office to suit Bryce better and he refused to adjust his offense. So I say it is fairly likely.
  2. And now it has been thinned out, so we shall see.
  3. He has been around them in Pittsburgh. I’m sure he knows who are real “football guys” in the league. His problem is going to be reaching out to them and admitting he needs help and he can’t build what he wants himself.
  4. From what I was told, his demeanor yesterday evening and last night was intense to say the least. I wonder if there is a chance he would have been fired then if Frank hadn’t been in the PC. Apparently the man had a whole flight and night sleep and awoke just as angry.
  5. I haven’t had it confirmed yet but I think he turned down the interim role this time as well.
  6. From what I have heard I don’t think that’s going to be the case this year. I think he knows he was sold dreams by Rhule and Frank. I wouldn’t be surprised is Fitterer is gone before EOS as well. I expect him to put real football people around him this time. He is tired of losing.
  7. This is going to be a common talking point by people who didn’t watch and follow those 11 games. As body who seen the regression in person from last year to this year it is warranted. Rhule’s 2020, 2021, and 2022 squad would have beaten this team. Steve Wilks’ 2022 squad would have obliterated it. It’s clear regression.
  8. This is exactly what happened. Reich was hired believing he would get Carr. Tepper was convinced by Scott to draft a QB and that guy was Young. Frank isn’t one to push back.
  9. I would say Evero the defensive coaches are all doing fine. There have been a number of injuries and despite that the defense is still functional. The biggest problem the defense has is the offense doesn’t sustain drives to keep them off the field and they are gassed by the 3rd quarter, which doesn’t help with field position either. I think you have a situation of “too many cooks” on the offensive side. I have a feeling if you thin it out a bit you would find more consistency and updated playcalling.
  10. Yeah I haven’t heard a thing on this. I actually heard a little while ago his media availability was any minute now.
  11. I’m standing on what I was told back in the spring and what I shared here. Reich wanted Carr, the front office was not interested but met with him out of respect for their new HC. Frank wanted Stroud or Richardson; Fitterer and his team wanted Bryce Young. The impression I have been given is Bryce Young was a Scott Fitterer pick. Scott convinced David Tepper that he was the right guy. Frank being new and timid probably didn’t push back on it and caved.
  12. One thing people are not considering is the fact that there will likely be quite a few head coaching vacancies this offseason and possibly a couple retirements. There could be up to 8 openings. How competitive can the Panthers be when there are up to 7 other teams bidding for the same group of coaches? This may be a situation where you remove the HC, keep most of the staff in order and continue with interim.
  13. Removing comment- was told there were supposedly media irregularities for availability tomorrow. Was told this was not in fact true.
  14. Damnit Bruce! I kid, I kid. A lot of comes down to your team’s offense my friend. Some of it comes down to Bryce. Unfortunately you all will not know which one is truly at fault, if not both for at least another year.
  15. What the hell are you talking about buddy? This is a WCO. It’s the WCO Spread; similar to Philly, KC, and Jax. You don’t see much of the orginal WCO anymore, it’s mostly adapted into various sub sets. Shanahan probably runs the closest thing to the original WCO. Also, Bryce Young wouldn’t fit the Air Coryell or the traditional Verical Power Run of Panther’s past teams. 1) it requires more drop back time and he is too short to make those across the middle while dropping back 2) It requires deeper throws and attacks the middle which he struggles at.
  16. This is why I am not so sure that Reich gets let go. Bryce is a system QB, he thrives in a WCO/Spread which is what Frank and Brown have experience in. Somebody like say “Ben Johnson” or “Random OC” wouldn’t just fit. It would need to be somebody out of Reid, Pederson, McVay coaching trees or similar. One thing I have thought about is if Reich is let go, Tepper could just put a DC type in that role and go get a guy like Bill O’ Brien if Belichick retires or a guy like Eric Bienemy who has tons of experience in this offense should Rivera’s team be fired.
  17. It’s too early to tell with Bryce. You usually need 1.5-2 seasons to tell with a QB. The group around him isn’t very good, and as the article in The Athletic pointed out, not the right scheme players. Many of his negatives get inflated by that, but he does have some alarming footwork/technique at times as well. By this time next season, what Bryce is going to be will be clear.
  18. The best thing for the franchise is to let this season and next play out. Your team is loaded with cap in 2025 and they have a first round pick again. It also gives the office time to accumulate more assets and erase any questions it may have about the QB, GM, and HC. By the end of next season you should know all you need to about them. Do I think this is going to happen? Absolutely not.
  19. I am actually sort of impressed with what Ejiro has done despite the injuries to Horn, Jackson, Thompson, Chinn, Bell, Woods, and Houston all at some point this season- he hasn’t done a bad job. - The GM gave him Brown, Tuttle, a back up from the Broncos, and two guys from the Patriot’s practice squad to be his DL. -Same GM signed a 34 year old Houston who has 4 tackles and .5 sacks as his Edge. -Same GM didnt shore up any positions with depth that he knew were filled with injury prone players. - Offense is doing him zero favors sustaining drives and keeping them fresh. Defense held the Colts to 13 points, the offense gave them 14.
  20. I think Tepper rides this one out, maybe into next year. Things escalate quickly so who knows but I haven’t heard anything either way. Fitterer would obviously be next up in the unemployment line but my understanding is that he is close to Tepper. So big pot of interesting on the stove right now.
  21. I have been told by multiple people this week that Frank Reich has been acting a lot less like “Frank Reich.” Apparently he has been more unforgiving towards mistakes and has been very pointed towards players and coaches. Make of that what you will.
  22. As I said in March. I can assure you, Reich wanted Carr. The Panthers even speaking with Carr was out of encouragement by Reich to sit down and talk to him. I don't know who Reich wanted in the draft. I heard Stroud first but then everything started running together a few weeks prior to draft night.
