I Feel Bad For All of You - Thank God for Tetairoa McMillan
LoneSpaceDrone replied to tukafan21's topic in Carolina Panthers
Gotcha thanks for the info. I thought I remember the announcers mentioning that he was getting doubled at times, but of course its a bit hard to see downfield during the broadcast so I'm not sure how accurate that is. -
I Feel Bad For All of You - Thank God for Tetairoa McMillan
LoneSpaceDrone replied to tukafan21's topic in Carolina Panthers
It seems that Arizona started focusing on him after he started making some of those catches and Bryce didn't target him again since. How's he going to handle when defenses game plan for him going forward making it incredibly dangerous for Bryce to throw his way? We need some of the other WRs to step up and is a reason why XL being so crap is disappointing. -

OFFICIAL Week 1: Panthers @ Jaguars Game Day Thread

I think I have this feeling as well. I do wonder who the Jaguars see as a bigger threat ... our new unproven WR1 or the player with a year under his belt. -

I hope Legette turns into something because McConkey looks sooo clutch. -
I'd say this is a pretty good analysis and I'm thinking this is in line with what Dan and Dave are planning for our offense since many of our WRs seem to fit this mold.

Can someone explain to me why Canales keeps trotting Bryce out there when its apparent this guy is just dragging the entire team down? I really don't understand what his thought process is? He's going to lose the locker room at this rate.

Don't worry guys, we're 1-0

Unfortunately, in the press conference after, Tepper said just this.

Yikes ... Tepper cringing when he mentioned Matt Rhule, you can tell he definitely regrets that decision. -
CJ Stroud: I’m a football player, not a test taker
LoneSpaceDrone replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
What I was referring to was the results of his S2 score leading to the conclusion that his processing is poor, so he'd be the outlier in that he'd have to break the mold that there are no successful NFL starters that have scored low on the S2. Stroud did have impressive numbers for sure and I don't think its a stretch to say that he is the most accurate passer in the draft, though some people may argue that he was in a very QB friendly system where he didn't have to make many tough decisions, his receiving core were some of the best in college, and his struggles under pressure. I do like Stroud and in the past, I think Stroud would have been the clear favorite, but with the direction the league is going in, I think the traits that Young possesses will lead him to more success and that's what I want for the Carolina Panthers. -
It really does make no sense ... but I've seen multiple people now trying to compare draft picks to political parties or other extreme groups. It goes to show that we've been getting hammered into our subconscious that we must pick a side and the other side is the hated enemy. Come on people, its a football game and we're all on the same team!

I think I'll put my stock into what Panther legends Luke, Steve, and now Cam have to say about Bryce than random Huddle user 91278.

CJ Stroud: I’m a football player, not a test taker
LoneSpaceDrone replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
And there's been plenty of people with vast football knowledge that DO put stock into the test, more so than its deniers. You can't just choose the side you agree with as the one telling the truth. Also saying that CJ Stroud might be a dud isn't a false statement, its simply a prediction based on his processing ability. Whether that will be proven true or not in the future remains to be seen. As much as Young is an outlier due to his size, CJ will be just as much an outlier due to his processing. I really do wish CJ luck, but I think he's going to need a very good team around him to excel at the NFL level. -
If anyone were interested in observing the Dunning-Kruger effect, a certain vocal minority on this board would make excellent case studies.

I really don't get what people have against this man. Yes, he is short for an NFL quarterback, but damn if he doesn't make up for it in almost every other area. Personally, I'm looking forward to a new era of Carolina Panther football and I hope everyone else is on board to come along for the ride.
