Darnold and Panthers will Bounce Back Today

There's no bounce left. We're already splattered at the bottom of the cliff. -
I have no idea what is going on with the Watson situation. I'm not sure anyone outside of the Texans front office does and I'm not completely certain anyone there does either to be honest. I think we've seen enough to know that Darnold isn't the answer so I'm not sure that another awful performance would really sway things for us on the Watson front.

CMC's dad played over a decade in the NFL for three different teams. He understand the business side of this game better than most. Oddly enough, Ed was basically a JAG his first seven years not hitting his stride until he was 30 at which point he emerged as a legit top tier #2 WR.

We all get that. Yet look around the league. Find me another team that lost that level of talent to career derailing injuries in this timeframe. We're not losing "good players". We're losing the absolute best players on our team. Guys who are among the very best in the league at their positions. HOF caliber talents. During their prime.

Official my god how have we sunk so low Panthers at Falcons thread
LinvilleGorge replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hey, it's October in Panthersland! You know what that means! Time for draft talk! -
Why can't the Panthers have nice things? Cam, Luke, now likely CMC just in recent years. All generational type talents. All derailed by injury.

Fighting actual crime costs money. Better to sit around and write tickets to people going 11mph over with no other car in sight. That drives revenue. If the person happens to blow .08 that's a winning lottery ticket. I don't blame it all on the actual cops. Yeah they suck and they're pretty much useless, but more and more often LEO departments are expected to foot their own bill if not run on a surplus. That shouldn't be a consideration but it is in a lot of municipalities. That requires the cops to focus on driving revenue and not focusing on much more important crimes that are money losers.

Boring AF.

It just baffles me. We have numerous posters who literally only post to complain about others voicing opinions. Like WTF are you even here? This cannot be a fun experience for you.
-
Ya think? It blows me away how many troll posters we have who just post because of getting triggered by other people being willing to voice an opinion on something. If opinions trigger you maybe you shouldn't frequent a forum that is primarily here for the exchange of opinions.

I haven't even mentioned the two times I've had guns pulled on me. Both times by cops. LOL!

I bet they haven't because they already know the answer.

My wife called the cops when we lived in CO when a bear broke in our house. The bear was between her and any exit (she was in our second story bedroom). A sheriff substation was about five minutes away and one of the cops' favorite sit and hide and watch porn on their laptop spots was at the end of the street. It took them almost an hour to arrive. A news van that hear the report on the scanner beat them there. Their station was 45 minutes away. At this same house I was washing dishes and see someone dressed in all black climb/fall over our backyard fence. I'm like WTF? Go out there to see a cop brushing himself off as his partner starts to make the same climb. I'm like, "Okay, first of all WTF are you idiots doing and secondly, did you not see the gate literally ten feet away?" They said they just assumed the gate would be locked (it wasn't, it didn't even have a lock on it) and that they had received a 911 call from this address (they hadn't). Me: "Ever tried a doorbell? You're climbing over a fence at dusk in all black and my nearest neighbors are a quarter mile away. Are y'all on a suicide mission? If my a Rottweiler had happened to be in the yard you would've gotten your ass torn up when you fell over this fence. Y'all seriously dumb as fug." I really, really don't like cops. I've never personally been involved in any situation that improved due to the presence of a cop. And it's not because I'm a criminal or low life. My record is spotless.

It would require way too many egos all the way around swallowing way too much pride. Not gonna happen.

And the cops won't do poo about it. That's why it's so prevalent. Low risk, high reward crime. Happened to my wife years ago when my truck was broken into in Topeka, KS. I tracked them down. Gave the cops the names, the address, everything. It was gift wrapped for them. They did nothing. Turns out they were having a huge issue with this at the time. Vehicle break ins leading to identity theft. The cops were convinced there was some Oceans 11 type poo going on that was just beyond them. It was just tweakers. Finally one of the tweakers got arrested on an unrelated drug charge and squealed in the ring. The cops were SOOOOO proud. Good hard police work broke the case. It was the exact same names I gave them. They were shopping all the goods bought with credit cards obtained through stolen identitities to their residence. It took me less than an hour to figure this out. They just refused to lift a single finger. I got a call to arrange shipping for my items they recovered. They described several of them. Didn't hear back. When I followed up, no items fitting my description were there and none were ever inventoried. Basically, the cops stole my poo. Cliff notes: Cops are fuging useless.

I have no clue what is going on and I don't think any of these media types do either. They're just plastering that wall with mud so that when something happens (or doesn't happen) they can point to some "report" they spammed along the way and claim they called it. That's the state of media these days. It's a show. -

Never seen so much mud thrown at the wall before. Virtually any take that could possibly be "reported" about this situation has been reported. That way literally anything that happens, these folks are gonna be able to point back to some "report" and say they called it. Yeah, you're gonna get it right somewhere along the way when you slather the entire wall with mud. -
Mike Florio at PFT is VERY bearish on Watson to Carolina. Specifically saying that Watson wants to go to Miami and only Miami. He also basically laughs at CMC being a tradeable asset at the moment. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/10/30/report-david-tepper-would-include-christian-mccaffrey-in-deshaun-watson-package/
