  1. I liked him decently too. I never bought into the 2nd round hype I saw on him, but I thought he'd likely go as high as possibly the late 3rd and definitely by the 5th. I actually like Moses more than Jabril Cox (who also went quite a bit later than most pundits thought). Obviously NFL talent evaluators thought differently and it's not like they watch any shortage of Bama tape.
  2. I was surprised we didn't take a LB in the mid to late rounds. Didn't expect one in the first three rounds but expected one at some point, especially with 11 picks made.
  3. We were 5-11 this year. Shouldn't be a whole lot set in stone.
  4. Rhule has already said they see Keith Taylor as a CB. I was excited about the Kenny Robinson pick last year but him not making the final roster at first says we're not at all high on him since we were willing to potentially lose him... and neither was anyone else since no one picked him up. Hopefully he's improved immensely, but unless he has he's not gonna be the answer.
  5. Holy poo, that dude is a UNIT. Look at those damn arms. Shredded and bigger than that defenders legs.
  6. Very well could've been. I get our busts mixed up sometimes. One is about the same as the other I guess.
  7. Sounds kinda like a boom or bust pick. That's fine in the 7th.
  8. So... sounds like we DRAFTED a mediocre long snapper. Oh wee mayne. Oh well, it's a 6th round pick, but still. Oh wee mayne.
  9. I said it at the beginning of the week. What we saw last season wasn't Phil Snow's defense. It was just the defense that Phil Snow was running given what he had to work with in the secondary.
  10. Probably my favorite pick of the draft so far. Loved this kid at the Senior Bowl. Ideal slot WR prospect.
  11. Interesting. He looked abysmal at the Senior Bowl. Large, superbly powerful, but completely and utterly unathletic. Obviously we saw something to work with though.
  12. Bradberry was consistently underrated on a national level because A) we weren't a very good team in a small market and B) he didn't make many plays on the ball. But, the dude could flat out cover. INTs are icing on the cake IMO. I'll take excellent coverage all day everyday, especially from a late round pick.
  13. People used to give me hell for saying Norman was a subpar athlete for an NFL CB but I only said it because it was very true. His instincts and ball skills more than made up for it, but the truth is that Norman was never a good athlete by the very lofty standards of an NFL CB.
  14. Not surprising. He looked good at Senior Bowl week. I mentioned in another thread to keep an eye out for us to potentially draft him today.
  15. The only thing Hurney loved more than fuging up was doubling down on his fug ups. Short should've never been restructured. That was so idiotic and so classic Hurney.
  16. Cool. Nice pick. Fits a need. It'd be shocking to see Short brought back at this point. We've moved on.
  17. I hope this pick indicates that we plan on trying to not run CMC into the ground.
  18. LOL! This is straight up Madden franchise mode tactics.
  19. Not even being a homer, but Dazz Newsome and Michael Carter would both for well for us. A flier on James Hudson wouldn't be an awful pick. Wiggins is a guy I've liked throughout the pre-draft process. I'm really surprised that Dylan Moses is still available. That's a pick that could make a lot of sense for us. I'm less surprised Jabril Cox is still available. I've thought him overrated throughout the pre-draft process and I think he'll be a coverage liability in the NFL. Deommodore Lenoir and Keith Taylor are two to watch at CB. We've been connected to both through the pre-draft process.
  20. I think he ultimately ends up at LG but he'll be given a shot at OT at first.
  21. Gettleman was better than Hurney, but both ultimately deserved to be fired. That draft so reeked of desperation to replace Josh Norman after that dumpster fire of a fiasco.
