  1. Because you suggested Lance could potentially be a late round flier pick you're delusional
  2. Watson was my first option but who knows what's happening on that front. I'd LOVE to draft a QB in the 1st but I'm not sure it's going to be possible and the trade up market has already been established and it's STEEP. A boom or bust mid-rounder or vet might be our best bad option. Either way, the best option is NOT Teddy Bridgewater on a $23M cap hit.
  3. Honestly, it's not the worst idea in the world. If he improves and shows he can be the answer, great! If he doesn't and continues on this same path we're going to be in the mix for a top 5 pick.
  4. I think there's a decent chance that five years from now Lawrence isn't the best QB out of this draft class.
  5. Give me Jimmy G. He's on IR early in the year and we cruise to Sam Howell with Will Grier starting at QB.
  6. There's been reports that we really like Fields. Pretty much crickets on Lance. Thus far, this new regime hasn't seemed too adept at smokescreens.
  7. Yeah, I concede that it's very possible they take a QB I'm just going on a hunch that they won't. I mean, he threw for over 4500 yards and 26 TDs vs. 11 INTs last year.
  8. I think we probably trade up to #5 with Cincy for Justin Fields. I think the Falcons will try to put together one last run with Matt Ryan.
  9. Plenty of people have explained why they don't care for Jones as a prospect, you've just ignored it and acted like no one has explained their position to you because it doesn't jive with your opinion.
  10. A stat that means a lot to the Foxes and Riveras if the world who play not to lose but a stat that has very little correlation with winning.
  11. This is going to lead to increased revenue which will in turn lead to increased cap and... you guessed to! Bigger contracts. This is intro to Econ 101 stuff.
  12. My point is quite clear here. Teddy is the worst case scenario. Teddy caliber play at a near $23M cap hit virtually ensuring a bad season but not quite bad enough to land a legit franchise QB prospect isn't acceptable and isn't a plan built around building a winning franchise. It's the worst possible option for the betterment of the future.
  13. Ah... The "my logic has failed so now I'll resort to insults based on failed logic" approach. LOL indeed. The revenue IS the production per the CBA. The production has increased. This concept is proving exceedingly difficult for someone who supposedly didn't need a lecture on the CBA.
  14. Evidently you do. That same workload has been driving revenue growth. It's really odd how many fans side with the billionaires. How have you been convinced that you're in the good old boys club? LOL!
  15. Now do the cost value analysis on Teddy Bridgewater... I agree. We absolutely have to look towards the future and moving on from Teddy for better or worse is the first step. There's no future in the 5-7 win range and that's where you're likely to end up with Teddy, plus you have $17M in cap space gone. There's no cost value analysis that comes out positive for keeping Teddy. That's what I've been arguing the whole time you've been trying to convince yourself that somehow some way keeping Teddy is a viable plan. It's not something that a well ran organization would do.
  16. Because the cap keeps increasing due to league revenues skyrocketing outside of one pandemic impacted season. That's how the CBA works.
  17. I'm not necessarily saying set ourselves up to lose. I'm fine with swinging a hail Mary deal for a QB this year too. But doing nothing at the QB position or hoping for a mid-late round QB to come in and save the day just isn't a plan a winning organization would implement.
  18. The John Fox/Ron Rivera "play not to lose" mentality is still alive and well I see. Get rid of the purgatory. It's exactly like I said when we signed Teddy - he's not good enough to allow you to compete but he's likely to be just good enough to deny you the opportunity to draft a top tier QB prospect. Lo and behold, here we are. I'd prefer not to be here again next year. Ditch the anchor holding us back.
  19. LOL! That was five years ago. He's on his third roster since that injury. The guy isn't good enough. All the mental gymanstics in the world isn't going to make him good enough. We're sub-.500 again and $17M of cap space down the drain if he's in the roster next year. 100% loser mentality.
  20. Remember that time Teddy sailed the ball ten feet over a wide open DJ's head in the endzone then blamed the coaching staff for not getting the play call in sooner so he had time to check to a run? LOLOLOLOL
  21. It's stunning how quickly so many in this fan base have reverted back to last summer's mentality of desperately trying to convince themselves that Teddy might be the answer despite the mountain of evidence screaming otherwise.
  22. QBs who have been on four rosters in seven years aren't starting caliber QBs.
  23. You think Teddy and his 15 TDs vs. 11 INTs were the reason we we're in position to be competitive in the 4th quarter? My god, this fan base is completely shell shocked. We have suckitis PTSD.
