This. I get it, everyone wants to be a starter and a star but an NFL backup QB is a pretty sweet gig. Plenty of guys have made a LOT of money and took minimal physical damage by being career backups. When you're his age you don't have a lot of life experience and perspective. But he'd be wise to look at the starting salaries of jobs he'd be looking at with his degree (assuming he graduated) outside of football. I'm pretty sure that holding a clipboard on an NFL sideline would start looking a lot more appealing
