  1. Because we're coming up on draft season and there's like six active posters on this thread. Stay mad.
  2. That was a threat? Man, you are big mad!
  3. @Zod hates that guy. You don't know what got him banned on the first place or his long history. Might wanna chill.
  4. Alright, off to the Lounge.
  5. I hate K because he's a miserable prick who makes everything about him. At you desperately trying to make that Falcons thing happen when your legendary coach got served up in the two biggest games of his season by a rookie head coach with a far less talented team.
  6. I told buddies that this team could make an Elite 8 run or lose by 20 in the 1st round. They were capable of beating anyone (and getting beaten by anyone). I never dreamed they'd come anywhere close to the final game.
  7. An 8 seed. Literally no one expected this team to go beyond the 2nd round. Y'all are so shocked we're not horribly upset because none of us expected this run. Duke expected to be there. That's the difference. It's not a difficult concept. There's a reason why there's only a small handful of folks tone-deaf enough to be talking trash. Oh, by the way... be good. Don't get banned again.
  8. Let's circle back on this on a decade. People will still be talking about the wins over duke. No one will remember Carolina's short bench and stars playing on sprained ankles running out of gas down the stretch.
  9. An 8 seed. Choking. In the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game. Imagine being dumb enough to put that string of logic together. Man, St. Peter's totally choked in the Elite 8. What chumps!
  10. I just don't care about it. We watch teams make idiotic picks every year. Hell, we're Panthers fans. We get to watch it a lot. I just don't see any bragging rights about it.
  11. That young proven WR is a lot closer to a big contract and Mahomes is a huge cap suck. If they wanted to pay a guy they would've just payed Hill.
  12. I'll water to judge Fields until he's in a non-Nagy offense. The one constant in his offense was poor QB play, no matter who was on the field. At some point, it ain't the players. The Bears' brass finally woke up and swallowed that bitter pill.
  13. I don't think they're a farce (except for RBs, yeah don't do that) but every NFL player is one severe injury away from never being the same and severe injuries occur with regularity in football.
  14. If you don't have a QB, then QB is ALWAYS your #1 need with your #2 need becoming almost irrelevant. You'd never get them to admit it, but they didn't think we needed a QB at all. They truly believed in Sam Darnold and that is a terrifying thought.
  15. Nope. And we shouldn't have last year either. We were sitting there on the clock with a guy in Fields who would hands down be the #1 QB available in this draft and have us all drooling to take him at #6 expecting him not to he there but NOPE! Let's take a CB and lean on Darnold!
  16. This is great. Keep it coming!
  17. I think the NFL is just evolving away from the slow and steady "build the roster" model and honestly for good reason. Football is such a violent sport that you never know when one of your superstars may get derailed dumping your slow and steady progress on it's head. Hell, we had it happen to us with Cam. Teams are getting a lot more aggressive of trying to take advantage of their opportunity to strike while the iron is hot and it's probably smart.
  18. It's because he's such a sniveling asshole who makes everything all about him always.
  19. WR They just traded Tyreke Hill. Man, imagine that. You're a WR expected to go top 10. You think you're going to a struggling team, right? Nah, KC makes a move for you and now you're playing with the best QB in the league. Sweet deal.
  20. Fact: the most memorable thing about this year's college basketball season in the long run will be UNC completely derailing K's farewell tour. Deal with it. Yeah, I wish we had ultimately cut down the nets. That would've been awesome. But it'll also always be awesome thinking back on the greatest regular season win and greatest non-championship post-season win in UNC history both coming within the space of a month from a completely unexpected team. That's what made this run so fun. NO ONE saw it coming.
