  1. No he doesn't. If he does, he should show up and say he's ready to go. Make the Texans bench him.
  2. The players have a union. The exempt list is in the CBA. If the players didn't want to be subject to it, they should've made it a bargaining point. Most players aren't worried about it because they don't plan on KO'ing women on an elevator or running a dog fighting ring or sexually assaulting 20+ massage therapists. The NFLPA sued the NFL over it a few years ago and it was upheld via arbitration.
  3. Presumption of innocence is a legal concept only. Outside of the court of law it doesn't necessarily exist.
  4. That's what the commissioner's exempt list is for. So the NFL doesn't have to wait for court rulings to disqualify a player accused of egregious stuff. Panthers fans of all people should need no introduction to this.
  5. I have a Rottweiler, a pitbull, a lot of guns, can't see my nearest neighbor's house, and have a quarter mile long driveway. Not recommended coming up here uninvited.
  6. It's rarely any one person or one unit's fault, but I'mma be honest... the OL and Darnold are trash. But last week, our receivers put together about the worst game I've ever seen at the NFL level. So, yeah...
  7. Gross-Matos would have very little value. We already know Henderson's value. After being a top 10 pick last year, he was worth exactly a 3rd round pick and a mediocre starter/good backup TE.
  8. PFT is just mentioning the Dolphins and saying a deal could get done this week. All I'm gonna say is that as soon as a team tries to suit up Watson, he's gonna end up on the commissioner's exempt list immediately.
  9. I have no issues with Gonzalez. He's been kicking well.
  10. QB sneaks would be out. Can't call a charge up the middle with a Pickett.
  11. I want him to not throw a hospital ball with little to no chance of getting to the sticks to our #1 WR. Attempting to insult others with wanna be tough guy bullshit doesn't help your case.
  12. Oh, he knew the safety was lurking and he was gonna get LIT UP well short of the marker on 3rd down. That's just a ball that cannot be thrown.
  13. I think he'll be here playing wet nurse to a 1st round rookie QB. I don't see Tepper letting them go for another second tier veteran QB and I don't see any potentially available first tier veteran QB opting to come here.
  14. LOL! Yep, some scrub is about to look like prime Jonathan Ogden before turning into the worst version of Byron Bell for the rest of his appearances.
  15. His play really makes me question the trades we've made for CBs. Yeah, they're relatively low risk/high reward, but they do take away from our team building capital to invest in much bigger needs like OL, etc.
  16. Yep. There were a couple of hospital balls but there were no shortage of just outright drops too.
  17. Even more damning? He has the worst QB rating of any non-rookie in the league. I don't think this is what we were hoping for with the "Darnold is basically a rookie" talk. I mean, it turned out that talk was spot on but not in a good way. Not a "moldable piece of clay" kind of way. More of a "this dude looks like he's never played QB in the NFL" kind of way.
  18. Darnold has the 8th highest average time to throw in the league. Teddy's was among the lowest last year. Yeah, the OL sucks. But Darnold isn't getting the ball out fast enough oftentimes too.
  19. CMC missed a lot of time last year too. The OL pretty much sucked last year too. Granted, I think it's worse this year but it wasn't a strength last year. That leaves...
  20. I think it's a bit of everything. Darnold isn't good. The OL isn't good. Brady is struggling to adapt to having a poor QB and a poor OC. The receivers are probably getting frustrated with the situation and that's leading to them playing poorly. The entire offense is a poo show right now. Hopefully the late game success on Sunday can give them a spark but I doubt it. I think we're back QB shopping again this off-season. This is how it goes for most franchises after an elite franchise QB. The Montana/Young, Favre/Rodgers situations are a rarity. Most teams flail for years trying to find the next one.
  21. The offense wasn't so predictable last year with a different QB. I honestly do think it's largely a QB issue.
