Push To The Superbowl Panthers Lions GameDay ThreadJawnyBlaze replied to Catsfan69's topic in Carolina Panthers Well that’s how you start a game fast. Five runs for 80 yards to the house

Amazing moment…..and as always….respect to RiveraJawnyBlaze replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers I disliked him as a person once he started showing his true colors by throwing players under the bus, not backing his players, holding the team back, being a terrible coach, and finally that comment he made about never taking the blame any more after some player made a comment about not understanding the game plan or something like that. Sure he smiles for cameras and does things to look like a good guy in public and I’m sure he’s not an actual terrible person, but he’s no paragon of class like some people like to believe. Classy people don’t throw their players under the bus and get petulant because a player said something that might have undermined him. But most of all he’s the reason two of the best players in franchise history were absolutely wasted. We should have had a ring or two with those two leaders on either side of the ball

How many of those QBs are actually any good? Half of them maybe? What works for one team doesn’t necessarily work for another.

Team Needs: What positions would you want to address in FA?JawnyBlaze replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers TE or MLB. QB, DE and WR are too expensive in FA, we gotta draft those.

same reason there’s an adult collecting craze over anything. I have some at my desk at work, decorating my living room, man cave. Just something to see and trigger nostalgia and good feels about things I’m interested in. I have a bunch of very different hobbies, collecting knick knacks like this is just one of them

Wow that’s a helluva lineup. Maybe if you start pointing it at the toilet in your house we’ll start having some luck
-
I’ll put it in a safe with my Everette brown jersey lol
-
I’ve also got a CMC riding a panther bobble head lol. At least I received it while he was still on the team, this is the first time I’ve felt the sting of receiving something for a favorite player after he’s been traded or cut

I think Wilks has been told he has the job. (Speculation)JawnyBlaze replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers That’s exactly it. It was a legit criticism his rookie year and never since but people keep parroting the rhetoric cuz it fits their narrative.

Forgot I had preordered it a while ago

All their big runs to the outside yesterday were to the opposite side. Burns is pretty good at setting the edge when that’s his assignment, and usually when the ball gets run at his side and posters around here throw up their fingers and scream SEE HES BAD AT RUN DEFENSE it’s because it was obviously a stunt or his assignment was to rush wide or something like that. That’s what defensive play calling is, just cuz a player lines up in the same spot doesn’t mean the same gap or area is their responsibility every time.

I’m right there with you on Stroud. Easily my favorite. With our typical 5-6 wins looming it would probably take an epic trade haul to get him and no prospect is that sure. I’ve started researching Richardson hoping I can warm up to him.

If we can’t get our QB this year, this is the guy I want for now. Or a stud DE if one is available.
-
On the contrary, I think once we have a new QB and OC/HC we’ll see our current weapons are plenty. We could use a decent TE, but DJ is a stud, Marshall is turning into a stud before our very eyes these past few games but he’s still very young. Shenault is great with the ball in his hands but we never give him anything except those gd screens every other drive. If we just run him on some crossing routes and quick hitters I think he would be deadly in that role. I know he got a pass thrown his way today but I don’t recall it being a bad play on his part, can’t remember if it was a bad throw or what. Shi is a disappointment so far but he’s also young. Tldr: plenty of teams do more with much less. It’s scheme, play calling and QB.
-
With a top ten draft pick, many top HCs would love to get their hands on this roster. Excluding QB we have few “needs” and the two most important groups, the trenches, are good to go. We could use an upgrade from YGE, but scheme can compensate for a lot when it comes to solitary weaknesses.

	1000% agree with you.
-
I almost never turn a game off early. Haven’t this year yet. I’m really close right now
-
	What a STUPID playcall
-
I assume the logic is that the penalty happened on the third down play, so the yards get assessed to where the ball is then. Then the new set of downs kicks in on the next play, which starts where the penalty pushed the ball to, with a new set of downs.
