  1. Here is a former NFL executive breaks it down better than I could. It's all about the actual cash and owner has on hand to spend to attract/retain talent and prorate bonuses down the line.
  2. The cap is meaningless when you can go cash over cap. We have the second richest owner in the NFL, everyone needs to stop worrying about the cap.
  3. None. Trade back in the 1st to get a midround 1st + other picks.
  4. Bold take: He doesn't make it out of the 1st round. People, not scouts, forget how good this guy was the past couple of years before he got hurt.
  5. Also, we wouldn't have to trade up to get him. We could even trade down and pick up assets. That intrigues a lot of folks, me included.
  6. Report: Reich eyeing Fangio as Panthers' DC https://www.thescore.com/nfl/news/2559413 Make it happen Tepper!!
  7. I don't understand what some people expect out of a kicker. He only led the league in PAT percentage last year, and only missed two field goals. Perfect from 50+ yards. So let's focus on only those two kicks versus the 95% of other kicks, right we should get rid of him ASAP! To act like every single field goal in the NFL isn't high pressure is ridiculous. Eddie has proved he can do this job well and I guarantee you if we let him go Dallas would be happy to sign him same day.
  8. Yea. I love the idea of taking a CB in the 1st. I prefer Cam Smith.
  9. WoMeN haVe No pLaCe iN OwnINg a fOoTball TeAm!!! None of you have met her or have any idea of her business capabilities/intelligence. They say she's done the training, but some of you are like a mob of angry villagers waiting to burn someone at the stake for any indiscretion.
  10. Anthony Richardson. Here is what I hope we do. Trade back in the 1st and draft Cam Smith mid 1st. Use the capital from the trade back + one of our 2nd round picks to move back into the late 1st and draft Richardson. I love the idea of Horn and Smith on the outside. Dream scenario for me.
  11. I love the argument of saying we don't want another John Fox or Ron Rivera. The two leaders who got us to the only super bowls in team history. How's that flashy offense working for the Rams this year?
  12. Yea, well that's just like your opinion, man.
  13. Sign Wilks and hire Brian Johnson as OC. Trade back in the 1st. Take Anthony Richardson. Profit...
  14. People like to rag on D Jack but he is an above average starter at CB. Not elite, but paired with Horn and Henderson it is a very respectable backfield. Add in Chinn and Woods and I really like the backend of our defense. Adding another corner in the draft and we are set.
  15. Currently DJ is at 878 yards. He needs 122 yards vs NO next week. Will he get there? Early in it didn't look like he would be close. I hope we feed him as much as possible to keep his 1,000 yard season streak going.
  16. I really like the idea of pairing Johnson and Richardson. I love the idea of up and coming offense minds. Just because Brady didn't work out doesn't mean it was the wrong idea in general.
  17. For real. I watched the entire game and don't remember him standing out at the end for lack of effort?? If you're talking about the last play when Seattle scored, yeah it was wonky. A flag was thrown and you could see the entire defense, not just burns, took their foot off the gas. It shouldn't have happened, but it's semi-understandable.
  18. He absolutely caved in Bruce Irving and the right side of the defense line one one play. RB was able to bounce right behind him for the 1st down. Love the extra lineman plays.
  19. Who here remembers when we signed Peppers to a $16M 1 year deal? I think it was a the franchise tag amount at the time. I remember thinking, $1M per game is crazy money. Strange how fast the salary conversations change.
  20. Love Brandon Smith getting reps. If he can learn the game he has all the tools to be great. A project for sure, but exciting.
  21. Bummed there is only 5 games left. 100% pumped to see how this team finishes. Eternal optimist in me is rooting for Darnald so hard right now!
  22. And he was selected 10th overall. So what is your point if we fall a few spots?
