Will Kunkel says we're only "seriously interested" in three
Jon Snow replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
This the best you can hope for. If he turns out to be better than that then let's win this thing. If he's turns out to be worse then back to the draft we go. -
It just goes to show how much they do not care.

Now where's the fun in that? It's entertaining to watch the meltdowns over rumors. I cannot wait until draft night when bubbles are burst and the ranting goes into overdrive. -
NFL Network still thinks he's our starting qb. They showed a graphic the day Carr was signed of all the nfcs starting qb's and PJ'S picture was shown as the Panthers qb. I laughed pretty hard on that one. But you never know.

He's just speculating like everyone else. He doesn't even know who the top 3 qb's are on the Panthers board much less what they are thinking.- 113 replies

If... AR drops to 9, do you take him then?
Jon Snow replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think I may have set the line too low. I lost count at one point but now I think there's been a dozen already. -

Over/under is 30 prior to the draft. What you got? -
That hasn't changed.

The trust will last as long as there's a chance they draft a qb that some fans are drooling over. As soon as they draft a qb that some here do not want then it will be this staff are idiots and do not know a damn thing about qb's. Mark it down. -
How can you predict the success of a college QB in the NFL?
Jon Snow replied to d-dave's topic in Carolina Panthers
Free agency will tell you a lot. Mock drafts only tell you who they THINK will select said players. Anyone can do that. The reality is that teams look at the big picture and that is usually different than fans now view. Very few teams are afforded the option of developing a qb. If they are they rarely draft them high in the 1st round. Those spots are reserved for the perceived pro ready guys. Guys that need a year of development are taken in the bottom 3rd of the 1st and top of the 2nd rounds. It just the reality of the nfl. Someone could reach for AR but I doubt he goes in the top 10. -

You can't. You could narrow down the most pro ready in a draft class but whether that player will be the best of the group in the nfl is pure luck. Ususlly that guy turns out not be the best of the class. -
Of course he needs a agent. An agent would already know his market value and where the interest in him may come from. Lamar needs to realize his situation and what he will be missing out on. He would have already have massive contract if he would have had an agent from the start. It's just not smart for a qb to think he can negotiate his own contracts. I would pass on him just for that fact alone.

It's all my fault. I had nothing to do with the decision. Were I we would have our franchise qb already.
