  1. I'm not so sure we have. It's a long season and it's just got started. This team still may not win a single game. Tepper may fire everyone before the season is over. You know he's capable and more than willing to pull the trigger. No my friend, we've not seen bottom yet.
  2. I don't see that much left in him but what is left it's not good enough for what this team needs. I think the entire qb room get replaced before camp.
  3. If they do it will be after the draft and they take a qb. They are in deep doo doo with the qb position. I wouldn't expect Andy to be back if he plays the rest of the season. That would wring every ounce of juice he has left out of him. That means you need a starter and a backup, again.
  4. I've said that since the day he bought the team. Tepper needs to realize that he needs someone who knows how to find the right people in charge of this team and only talk to that person. He needs to stay the f**k out of the day to day operations. And most importantly the Monday morning coaches meeting is the dumbest thing ever. Stop it.
  5. It's likely he plays again this season and it will be just good enough for them to think he might be good enough to sell later. As a starter here long term is not happening. Not unless he finds some mojo while waiting for Andy to get crushed. There will be another qb or 2 added in the offseason and 1of them will be expected to start. Young will not be one of them, unless he finds a witch doctor.
  6. He's got until the end of his 3rd season to show something. That's what those other guy were given. But those teams drafted or signed a replacement after their 2nd season. Bryce didn't even get that far before he was benched, rightfully so. It just highlights how bad this organization has been run. Whether you want to call it ineptitude or misfortune it's been spiraling out of control for far too long under the new guys watch.
  7. The only problem is Andy is not capable of lighting anyone up anymore. The more likely outcome is that Andy plays ok but nothing special. They still lose and the Panthers still look like idiots. So no, a knee-jerk trade is the last thing they need to do.
  8. Luvu chased the money and didn't want to be here. Can't say as I blame him.
  9. Tepper just needs someone that has experience making decisions for him that's above the GM. That would completely remove him from the decision making. Solves everyone's problems including Tepper.
  10. I'm telling you it's in Teppers wheelhouse.
  11. Can you smell it? It's Teppers big brain grinding its gears.
  12. Keep an eye on the Purdy situation. The 49ers are looking to upgrade and he's perfect for someone like Tepper to focus on.
  13. Yeah that screams the owner stepping in to voice his opinion. I thought they would at least give him 3 or 4 games to get it together before pulling him in game. That's how it's done normally and not let it go on all game and 24 hours later decide. It's still a mess in BOA.
  14. It's happened but it depends on the player. It's been a long time ago but it's not unprecedented. Now giving up on a 1st overall pick this soon, if they truly have, is a record. It usually takes 2 seasons at least. So this story is not over yet. Young will most likely be forced to play again soon enough as Andy has a shelf life as a starter a 15 games is a huge ask of him at his age.
  15. You just describe all media today. The truth is not what is important. It's what I say it is.
  16. Dalton will be lucky to make it through the first game. Wouldn't it be ironic if Andy goes down on the first play and Young has to finish the season anyway?
  17. No it was Fitterer and Dave. It all starts there. Only 1 of those 2 are left.
  18. Funny thing is Bryce may be the only qb from this group on the roster next season.
  19. It's why Jack Plummer played so much in preseason. Andy was hurt.
  20. All true. But there's always some coach that will think they can fix him and get him back to the qb he was in college. Hell, look at the support he's getting today in the media. Most thinks it's the support around him that's failed him. If that's true then they are better off letting that be the narrative going forward and trade him at seasons end where hopefully they can get something of value other than a 5th for him. Is it likely that it happens? Probably not. But i would ride that narrative as long as I could.
  21. I would be. As much as he sucked so far the team still needs to hold onto him this season at least. Things can change in an instant in the nfl as well as fortunes. This story is not over yet.
