  1. If you consider the last 2 games preseason games it makes sense.
  2. Pass. Jack Plummer is next man up. He doesn't cost near as much and is a complete mystery. Makes it more entertaining.
  3. It looks that way. It appears the FO had more faith in Young than even I did. I was hoping for a miracle even though I knew better. But had it been my decision I certainly would have gotten a better plan b.
  4. I would not go so far as say there is no way but I will say that even if they do he will not recover from this. He's done as a starter here.
  5. I'm all for this. But that would mean someone has to be put on the PS. I doubt it's Young.
  6. It's putting out one fire. Albeit an important one. But we're left with ashes at the position.
  7. It was Bryce or bust this season. Obviously they weren't taking the possibility of bust seriously enough.
  8. Exactly! He's like, wtf man? Put the Plummer in to get beat up! Not me!
  9. It still won't matter. But at least Andy will let it loose out there.
  10. I bet Andy is saying, I didn't sign up for this, I'm just here for the laughs.
  11. I don't think they were in lock step at all. Frank just tried to go along to get along. Looking back on the situation Frank wanted a vet to start and they tried for Carr but Fitterer didn't really try to sign him because he was rookie all the way. Frank made it clear that Scott picked the players and he decides who starts. That's pretty clear to me the dynamics behind the scenes. So what Frank presented as his plan when he was hired went out the window rather quickly after he was hired.
  12. I was thinking the same thing. I'm out of pie or I would pie this.
  13. Reich wanted a vet qb. He wanted Carr and got Fitterered. Then he was forced to use Young and a mismatched cast of offensive coaches. He was toast as soon as he took the job. He was the wrong coach for developing a rookie qb and everyone knew it but Tepper and Fitterer. And they took the wrong rookie. It was doomed from the start.
  14. Both equally bad but as others have said the cost to get Young out weights the cost of Clausen. Recency bias is a hell of a drug though so I will overlook that.
