This^ Now they might have gotten to talk him before the trade was finalized, but otherwise talking to a player beforehand is prohibited.
-
I would venture to guess his play is more a reflection of, or more adequately put, a result of his supporting cast around him. More specifically, he's the prettiest turd among the pile of turds in the punch bowl.
-
Well isn't that just wonderful.

That's the first I've heard it.

What does the Henderson trade mean for Donte and Jaycee?
Jon Snow replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think the plan is to develop enough talent behind these guys that you don't overpay out of desperation to keep them. Kinda the opposite of what the past FO's did. -
Old news.

That's the smart thing to do. But coaches are pressured to win now. Most of them don't have a clue how develop these kids or even care to. You see them cling to older vets as long as they can or they throw kids out there before they are ready hope for the best. This is Jacksonville we are talking about here, Lawrence is screwed.

It's really easy to do I hear.

I would rather keep Christensen on the left side if possible. But if he's needed on the right so be it.
-
I doubt his conditioning is up to where it needs to be to start a full nfl season. They may work him in around game 6 or 7 if he shows he's a starter.
-
Who do we have that they want? It would have to be player for player most likely.

Quick Scott Fitterer appreciation thread…
Jon Snow replied to FuFuLamePoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
This has me thinking of who this band of merry misfits running the show in BOA reminds me of. You've got Rhule, the caption. Kirk Snow, the science officer/genius Spock Brady, the navigator. Chekov Fitterer, the engineer. Scotty Or I've watched too much Star Trek in my informative years. -
That's a Cowboys fan.

I think they would rather have young guys with upside with coaching. Older vets are only stop gaps at best. This far into the season is not the best time to bring in olinemen if you want them to start right away. Anyone brought in now would not start right away. We will be better off starting the rookies if it comes down to immediate need due to injury. I can't see them shelling out big money on a backup vet.

This is the Turning Point Game of the 2021 Season

So you're saying we have to beat the refs again also. Sounds about right.

Panthers about to trade for CJ Henderson?!?!
Jon Snow replied to joemac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Rhule said in his presser that Henderson is a long term investment/project (can't remember which word he used) that he wasn't in a rush to get on the field, whatever that means. I think he knows he has some work to do with Henderson. -
Plus, if there were good offensive linemen everywhere then explain why 3/4's of the teams are still looking for them.

It doesn't matter how good old Teddy two gloves plays elsewhere. He didn't play that well for us so he didn't benefit us one damn bit. He fails to mention that one little crucial tidbit.

Panthers about to trade for CJ Henderson?!?!

I doubt we will come out this trade worse than we were going in. The kid is too talented not to take a chance on. -

We sweetened the deal with superstar Dan Arnold. But for only a 3rd and they would have to give us a 5th to ease the pain of losing such a huge part of our offense. How could they say no to that? -
So he's not the worst qb ever as has been foretold by the Huddle soothsayers? Now what's the odds of that.
-
Weak. You guys have to do better.
-
So that makes this deal even better in my book. We get him in year two of his rookie deal and potentially for years to come. Just have to see if he fits because you can't deny his talent.
