  1. I don't disagree with this theory. But the switch was inevitable. It's just that now it's for a different reason.
  2. Maybe he was giving his wife an oil check when the accident happened? Oh tell me you haven't gotten freaking on a car ride!
  3. Yeah I have said that from the beginning. It's not up to the fans whether he stays or goes. Until the team gives up on him this is what you will see. Everyone knew as soon as Andy went down it was back to Young. I also said Andy only had about 4 games in him at best. It was inevitable that Young would start again this season. You were warned.
  4. I'm not sure what it would look like. Anything better than what he's shown so far would be an improvement. He would have to play lights out and have a couple of scoring drives before he ultimately flames out I guess. I don't think there is anything he can do to salvage his career here.
  5. I don't understand the statement "what he done to the fanbase ". As far as I know he hasn't touched any fans beyond a handshake now and then. If watching him play effects you physically and emotionally then I think the problem is with you. You may not want to watch football anymore if it has that kind of effect on you. I know he stinks as a qb but cmon, some if you act like he ran over your dog or boned your mom or something. Ian Thomas has scammed this team out of more money than anyone and the outrage for that guy is nothing more than a mouse fart. Young will be gone when they can move him so be patient.
  6. If they are not considering that there is a scenario where they may have to call on Plummer before the season is over then I would consider that incompetent. Andy is not going to finish the season as the starter. It's just a matter of time before he's on IR. If Young is forced into action then Plummer is now the backup by default. It appears Canales would rather drag Andy out there no matter what so who's the backup if not Young? I have no clue what the plan would be going forward. It's just a mess.
  7. His biggest blunder was not hiring someone to manage the football team that knew infinity more about building a football team than he does. He has no business making GM and coaching hires much less picking qb's. That is his biggest blunder.
  8. With the exception of Young the narrative fits. It's definitely been a Carolina problem during the Tepper era. Let the bidding begin.
  9. That was well worth watching. I highly recommend everyone watch every minute as it's long but there's no advertising at all. Great interview with Luke from Dale Jr of all people. He does a great podcast.
  10. Depends on the perks and what area you cover. If they cover expenses then I can deal with the salary. I would not need much in the way of compensation. Travel expenses will have to be included or it's not worth it.
  11. I'm retiring so I need something to do with my free time.
  12. I would take a scouting job if Tepper offered it to me.
  13. I know absolutely nothing about the guy. Bring him in to scrub central and see if he's got anything to offer.
  14. You will see Bryce Young play again and like it young man.
  15. I would not call that help. It's more like throwing a cup of water at a house fire.
  16. I'm not sure about the other bottom feeders but Carolina ain't winning squat the rest of the way. They missed their window. Someone would have to throw the game for the Panthers to win.
  17. Until Tepper stops calling the shots. Nothing changes otherwise.
  18. Pretty much. They approached every season since Tepper took over as if they were just a couple of players away from being a dynasty. Not to mention Tepper is trying his best to out stupid Jerry Jones with team building.
  19. That's because he went bpa in the first. After that it was his gut feelings.
