  1. Yeah so apparently Dave called the pass at the goal line it wasn’t a check. He just said it in the press conference
  2. Technically I think it would just be 1. They would get ejected, so we would need to do it with the back ups. Then we could play our starters against 11 dudes with swollen balls
  3. I think I figured it out. If you add last week and divide by 2 the average is still good.
  4. Not as bad though. Only in big games or against big markets. Now we get it against the Browns at 1pm on Sundays
  5. Yeah I mean it’s a totally different game if we score on the goal line. It literally changes the pace of the whole game. Less conservative, more running, no dumbass 2pt calls
  6. When we get a big name athlete like a Cam or Steve Steve/Julius Peppers, we will start getting some slack again. But never like the Dallas’, KCs, SFs, etc
  7. The game would be closer if we did. Niners wouldn’t want to come off the sideline. Speaking of which where’s that one guy from a few years ago who said the OL needing to start punching guys in the balls. He might have been on to something
  8. I’d like to know if the goal line pick was a designed pass play or a check at the line. That would give a lot more insight on tonight.
  9. I’ve always said there isn’t a “script”. It’s impossible for the NFL to script things and have everyone on board without it getting out. They literally rubbed it in our face a few years ago with the “NFL script commercials”. I do think they push storylines and for the most exciting outcomes/ match ups using the referees. I can make more money betting the storyline than betting analytics. You don’t need a “script” you need a few called back plays or non-calls in a game and that is easily done with holding and PI calls. They don’t care about the Jets/Raiders at 1pm but prime time and high stake game, they do. They know the most profitable teams need to be in the postseason and at home if possible.
  10. 49ers held on almost every single play. But we didn’t do ourselves in favor on offense. The 2pt deal was really weird with a 7pt spread…
  11. Saw somebody post on X. “Canales coached not to get blown out, not to win” and that is the best way to describe tonight.
  12. Kinda yeah because it’s a rolling average. It’s not a given, there are highs and lows to the total average. Really comes down to preparation.
  13. MS OUTLOOK MEETING INVITE Subject: After Game Follow-Up From: David Tepper Frequency: Weekly Location: Executive Conference Room Required: Dave Canales Optional: Dan Morgan, Brandt Tilis
  14. Canales got his wish. He didn’t get blown out. Coached entire game not to lose by 30+
  15. Only chance we have is to get a TD here and hope our D gets a stop. Can’t kick the FG here. everything above is very unlikely
  16. I don’t care if Bryce throws 10TDs next week. I’m still out on him man. It’s worse than Delhomme having a bad game every now and then because Delhomme was consistently above average. Bryce is consistently dogshit and has a good game like Jake had bad games.
  17. Because Bryce and Dave can’t figure their poo out, the defense is on the field 3/4 of the game and are getting hurt
