These types of Referee blunders are 100% unacceptable
Cpt slay a ho replied to KillerKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Unfortunately when you’re not a football club that demands respect(and earns it) these things tend to happen and only panthers fans care since to the rest of the nfl we’re bottom feeders if you’re not the cowboys, chiefs etc good luck getting good officiating -
What op stated use to be the case and actually could have benefited some young qbs that weren’t ready to start(Josh Rosen comes to mind) unfortunately nfl isn’t like nba where players have to play out there first contract before ext talks can even begin, since that’s the case, getting the most out of first round rookies, especially QBs, day 1 is imperative to team building

HEAVENS TO BETSY, LOOK AT THESE WIDE-OPEN RECEIVERS
Cpt slay a ho replied to Carl Spackler's topic in Carolina Panthers
One thing young is going to have to work on is using the check down, a lot of plays he completely ignored the check down option. he’s def gotta work on progressing through his reads faster, o line did a good job protecting but besides grady, falcons don’t have anyone that scares you on the edge -
What magic can we pull to find a receiver?
Cpt slay a ho replied to RIPTreyLance's topic in Carolina Panthers
For a franchise that has historically struggle drafting WRs, to trade the only one that panned out in a decade color me shock that I’m not hopeful of finding a replacement in the draft nor is trading for one without getting robbed with Fitts running the show -
Naw I’m more fair weather than anything nowadays, this last 5 years there’s been nothing to get excited about and when there is, said player was traded(cmc, dj Moore) the reality is we feel what other fans do when they have to deal with billionaire owners who could care less about actually building a respectable football club(Snyder), like some have stated the handling of Cam and I’ll add cmc, dj Moore and burns for now, has doomed several versions of the team, and that abomination Matt rhule and now the current gm looks inept
-
Idk why we didn’t entertain d hop
-
No reason to calm down lol we’ve been trash for going on 7 years
-
All our gms have been straight ass at least hurneys first round picks were hof quality

how do we get tepper to sell the team

Stuck with him, was hoping he’d turn it around but every move he’s made football wise since buying the team has been major burns -

Cpt slay a ho replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Pay the man, 27-30 mil year is fair, anything lower than that would be a steal anything higher than 30 is going to be a overpay -
So then, we’ve got a WR corps to build. What do y’all got?
Cpt slay a ho replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
Odell, d hop nor any other older vet are going to want to come here to play with a rookie qb. unless they’re in fear of being out the league there’s not a vet I can see wanting to play here, maybe we can grab cooks from the Texans? But I’m not sure if they’re quarrel was because of playing time or that they sucked, maybe both. young fa WRs the staff think they can develop and trust this scouting staff can nail a wr pick, i like a choice of slayton, mecole or meyers if it’s not too pricey -
D hop is not trying to play with a rookie qb, we are talking about a guy that has dealt with mediocre qb damn near his entire career Pray we sign some young WRs like mecole, meyers, and slayton and hit on one in the draft, maybe even look to fill the te role in fa and focus on pairing our rookie qb with one of the better WRs coming out, either way scouting department has there work cut out for them

Would you trade 9 for Fields - straight up?
Cpt slay a ho replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’d give a 2nd at most not the number 9 overall, some in here are tripping lol guy ain’t have any WRs, should have drafted him originally but I def would try for 3rd and maybe a 4th or 5th -
I think the shoulder was a scapegoat for the circumstances he’s been under the last couple of years, since he didn’t play at all this year it was kinda clear the patriots situation was not great, evident by mac Jones performance this year and that’s with better offensive talent. we don’t even have to mention our situation the last couple years, rhule made every single qb under him look like they had no business in the nfl I think the time came where cam was no longer able to carry bad teams and the nfl, fans, etc looked at it as being “washed”. Idk what’s the deal with him not being a backup but I’m sure he’d be a better options than these backups we’ve seen this year, especially Josh Johnson and Huntley
-
You forgot /s
-
Pride or incompetence, but no way im trusting Josh Johnson or huntley to step into a playoff game and win
-
Cam newton would have gave teams like the ravens and 49ers a better chance to overcome injuries to there starting qbs than the backups they had on the roster. Not firing rhule last off-season doomed this season from the start every gm we’ve had since hurney has failed to perform significantly better than him
-
Rhule says he regrets throwing Cam under the bus

Good riddance -
Panthers working out Josh Norman today
Cpt slay a ho replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Would like him at fs over Cb at this point in his career -
Good for him, knew he made a mistake coming here under rhule, guy has submarined several qbs careers in his tenure here, hopefully baker can realign his now, def had some luck on that last drive, idiotic play by tillery
