  1. I vividly remember when DJ was wide open in the end zone against the Vikings in 2020, then Teddy completely missed him from 10 yards away and got him injured in the process. About sums it up
  2. Snyder and Co. probably thought they could get away with it. And why not, they’ve gotten away with everything else. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for him
  3. Yeah, the rest was mostly just coach speak. But the Chinn comment was disheartening
  4. It’s a catch-22. First round Hurney is amazing, but trade-up Hurney is horrific. Which would prevail? This offseason has a different feel than last. I really think Fitt is making most of the calls (with Dan Morgan being in there, too) and hoping it stays that way. Rhule’s lack of NFL experience was blatantly obvious to everybody except David Tepper, so he may have made some changes to let the big boys who know what they’re doing take charge. We’ll probably never know
  5. Strained trapezius, out 4-6 weeks. He looks good, though. Definitely didn’t lose any muscle on those guns
  6. Derrick Brown had a sophomore slump. I think he’ll bounce back next year, he impressed me a lot his rookie season with his pass rush ability (not what he was known for). Took a big step back this year though. Wouldn’t mind signing Star Lotulelei if it’s cheap. He’s not as good as he once was, but he’s better than a lot of guys on the roster
  7. I’m not a right wing huge 2nd amendment guy, but it’s not uncommon for people (at least where I live) to have guns on their hip and it’s within their rights to do so. Don’t always need to be in a dangerous situation to have a gun with you. This is more of a red tape/bureaucracy thing than anything (aside from the speeding) + weed is legal in so many places around the US. It’s dumb that he was arrested for this
  8. Agree 100%… when I was 23 I was making bad decisions. I still am, but I was then, too. Victimless crimes don’t deserve to be judged the same. Dude was driving around with some weed and a gun. Who cares… I know people (average citizens) who drive with that every day
  9. I have faith in The Fiddler and Dan Morgan. I do not have faith in Matt Rhule. They know football and the NFL, Rhule does not. This offseason has been overwhelmingly positive and has a different vibe from the previous two years; hopefully Rhule was stripped of some personnel decisions
  10. Beat me to it, damn. Would be interesting to see how this started, though
  11. Cross has been my guy for awhile. I wouldn’t complain with Neal at all, he’s a fantastic prospect, but Cross is the best at pass pro imo and has that nasty streak to excel in the run game as well if coached right, which we just got in Coach Campen.
  12. The OL is looking great, so I have a sickening feeling that somebody, or multiple somebodies, will get hurt before the season starts. I admire the attempt they’ve made at fixing a glaring issue.
  13. With gloves or without? Mostly joking, but some people will care. If he’s throwing balls 60 yards into Anderson or Moore’s hands then I’m okay. I’m convinced we’re picking Pickett, so just trying to get myself ready
  14. Thanks Hurney* I thought Getts was the one who cut him as well. But yeah that was my point, Lee is still a great punter and we wouldn’t be relying on an Aussie soccer player. Hekker is playing solid as well so I like this signing
  15. Love watching that man work. If he didn’t get hurt people would like the pick a lot more. CB was a definite need at the end of 2020. Good to see he’s back in action
  16. You’re vastly overrating that 2010 squad, 12.3 PPG. They were horrific. Current talent is leagues better than back then
  17. Nice! Sure beats trading a 4th round pick for Andy Lee, then cutting him after the season. Thanks Gettleman…
  18. Awesome! This is great to see, I was worried we’d prioritized Robby Anderson and were going to let DJ walk. But thankfully no, just had to get Rhule’s boy the bag first
  19. He was never coming here. He didn’t choose us as one of his choices a year ago, and once Atlanta joined it was already done. We’ve been an afterthought in his mind from the beginning
  20. So glad it seems like we’re moving Chinn back closer to the line of scrimmage. Good things happen when he’s up there. Really interested in who this mystery S is, but Landon Collins or Mathieu seems to be the best guess
  21. The “Garoppolo Gaze” he’s better than any QB on this roster, but trading for him is a bad move. Hence why it’ll probably happen
  22. Tepper’s been simping for Deshaun for a year and was the only one clearly interested during that entire time frame. Then Tepper gets his face smushed in his own poo. fug Deshaun. At least we’ve made some solid other signings
  23. Finally. Let Tepper’s humbleness begin now. Can’t buy everything, buddy
  24. Damn. Locked Rodgers in and then shipped his favorite guy to Vegas. Davante is an absolute stud so he’s gonna succeed wherever he goes. His route running and release off the line are amazing. Best WR in the league imo (Kupp’s right behind him)
