I was hoping this was about the video wnct9 played this morning with Rhule saying this was his first time going away for training camp like the last couple years hadn't happened at all.

If he thinks last year's defense was good, he's got a lot of learning to do. As Waldo posted, just try to score some points. Worry about an identity after you're able to score. Yeah...the panthers have been wanting that to happen for years. I expect they'll still be waiting after this season too.

I'm not sold on the idea of Rhule being lukewarm on the trade. Fitt I can see since he had just drafted his Russell Wilson hopeful in the third round of the draft and probably didn't want to give up too many assets for another QB.

6'4" 320lbs is undersized? That's one massive human. A quick google search shows the average is 6'2" 314lbs. What do you want, 7'2" 450lbs?

Nah. In cases like this Tepper gets all the blame. Free agency, the draft, and anything else football related is on Rhule.

Most of the defense is the same players from last year. Most of the defensive coaches are the same from last year. The defense lost two of its best players in free agency and didn't replace them with similar talent. The guy that has shown to be the best LB on the team is still being played out of position at safety despite how poor he looked there last year. The DC and HC are the same and running the same scheme. Since you're a homer and have a hard time understanding anything other than "Panthers good", this is the biggest key factor in why the defense will perform mostly the same.

As long as he's willing to play defense, sure. That said, it might not be until GH goes down with injury again.

McGowens looked like an actual NBA player today. That was nice to see. Odds are he'll be stuck in the Swarm all season though. Williams looked like an NBA player too, especially once the team started feeding him. As long as Williams plays defense and rebounds, Cliff will play him. Even Biz got around 20 minutes per game as a rookie.

That makes him cheap, which is a sign of a bad owner.
