  1. In that draft, they did nothing much up the middle, nothing much on their right side, and nothing much in the air, outside of one first down. They crushed us on their left side though. Have to make some adjustments.
  2. Worked out for them though. Miami played fairly well tonight all things considered, but they have lost three in a row. Fortunately, they have Green Bay next. But after that, a critical game against New England that might decide their playoff future.
  3. He was over thinking that one. Should have scored the td.
  4. I am torn. On one hand, the Panthers play over the last few weeks has generated hope, which would normally mean we lose tomorrow. On the other hand, Pittsburgh is not good. Their defense is decent, but the offense is pretty bad. They don't run or pass very well. So I guess I will say, we win a close, low scoring, ugly game, as long as we can avoid turnovers. 17-13 Panthers.
  5. You kick the field goal or you go for it. Punting buys you nothing.
  6. Should have been a defensive td. Refs screwed up and Colts catch a break and stop them. Vikes might have one more shot at getting the ball back.
  7. Vikes have outscored the Colts 28-3 in the second half. That number rings a bell, can't remember where I heard it though.
  8. They have looked rough since the big win over Buffalo.
  9. For a guy who was only picked because Rhule's wife liked him, its amazing how much his production has increased once Rhule left.
  10. They can run and play defense as well as anyone in the NFL. If (and its a big if) Purdy continues to play well, they could make a run. But irt the NFC championship, I don't see them or anyone else beating the Eagles.
  11. I thought the Forty Niner offense looked pretty lackluster last night, especially considering they were going against a Seattle defense that is banged up and that we abused. Their defense on the other hand, looked dominant.
  12. Until this past season, Matt Rhule owned Kingsbury.
  13. Define special? He is a solid running back who can move the pile and pick up the tough yards better than any rb we have had since Jonathan Stewart. We should not break the bank for him, but signing him for about 4 million a year (which would put him around 20th in rb pay) for 3 years or so, wouldn't be a bad deal
  14. Long term? Sure, if by long term, you mean 3 or 4 years, wouldn't have a problem with it. Big money, no. About 4-5 million a year would be the most we should pay. That would put him around 20th or so irt Running bay pay per year.
  15. That and when he threw it to Sullivan, who dropped the ball. Sam could have easily run for the first down.
  16. There were a couple of times I thought Darnold threw when he should have ran.
  17. What we do with Darnold, or who we draft, is going to depend on how the rest of the season goes.
  18. They may already be back to that. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost every single remaining game this year. Cincy next week is a probable loss. After that, all three games are probably 50/50 for them.
  19. Meh, the Bucs tanked for years (unintentionally) and it didn't do them much good. They even had the top pick in the draft, drafted a qb, and that qb now plays for New Orleans. Or I should say occasionally plays for New Orleans. They had to sign a qb in free agency to get a Super Bowl.
  20. IMO, we have about a 1 in 3 chance of doing it. Which is a far better chance than I thought we would have back in late Sep. Or August for that matter. But having a chance this year is far better than wondering when Rhule will be fired, or what draft pick we will have next year. So I am in.
  21. Experience coaching and playing are two completely different things. That being said, I agree it's still better than Rhule or Meyer. On the other hand, Rhule and Meyer both won at the college level, Kingsbury did not.
  22. Raiders have gotten better over the season, at least until they ran into the Mayfield Buzzsaw. And Hackett is in his first year. Kingsbury got fired from Texas Tech and as OC at USC, before being hired by Arizona, and has had one winning season as a head coach in his 7 seasons including College and Pros. And he lost twice to Matt Rhule.
