Yes...stroud would have been slinging pick sixes in low scoring winnable games against bad teams and defenses like bryce did earlier this year. You are so right.

Chris Simms was a stroud guy from day one and never bought the hype on bryce but we werent supposed to take his opinion serious because he didnt "agree with the consensus".

Ball placement by the QB plays a major part in that, not just the receivers.

Ickey is low key an elite run blocker. A lot of the big runs come off him making key blocks. Its really night and day how much better he is in run blocking than pass block. So When he has games where he doesn't struggle pass blocking he is top tier.

this is a great point. Its just tough when you are tired of losing and know the team can compete if QB play was better.

Thats understandable...but regardless of what happens in the off season Bryce still needs to show some type of improvement next year. We cannot look at evaluations of the draft and FA and make self-determinations that what was done isnt good enough for bryce to succeed. BRYCE STILL NEEDS TO SHOW some type of GROWTH from last season. This cannot become a carousel every year of the roster not being good enough for him.

So basically Fitt was a yes man who had no confidence in his own decision making. Half the draft picks were made by tepper, former players, and coaches wives. The amount time wasted building this team the last few years is just painful to think about.

That does make it look less bad that he is sticking up for his players but Tepper still has to show restraint and maturity to not respond in that way.

New Gm, new coach, whole new staff...Bryce young is on the clock whether you like it or not. New staff are not attached to current roster players especially qbs who are not already established success in the league. Thats the truth.

I said he should have been gone after drafting a LS in the 5th round. Im getting tired of being right about this team because the things im right about normally have nothing to do with success.
