  1. Honestly none of the edges feel good at 8 to me. Will Johnson or Tyler Warren seem way more likely to work out. I think Jalon Walker will be a fan favorite and have a good career but he won’t be worth the 8th pick or a consistent playmaker. I think he should play ILB or strong side in a 4-3. I don’t expect him to be an impactful edge in the NFL, too small.
  2. I don’t think you can totally judge what a player says when they are teammates.
  3. it makes sense when you are in nickel most of the time and you can’t trust if Horn will be healthy
  4. Haha oops for entirely abirtrary reasons I now have a good feeling about South Dakota state university
  5. I like that he went to San Diego State, I feel like you always see good transfers and players from there
  6. Getting more big guys was so important. Anyone we draft on defense will be so much more effective. They can double up on edge or maybe get a LB now. An undersized Jalon Walker doesn’t look as bad if we know he’ll have some 1:1 opportunities(still don’t want him).
  7. I’m pretty worried about injuries creeping back in especially now that he’s paid. I’m glad a guy we drafted worked out to be worth a contract like that. I hope he kills it.
  8. I do think Walker will make the defense better eventually , and could even be a franchise player. I’m a little worried how he will look and be received initially though.
  9. I like Campbell from Alabama a lot as an ILB I just don’t know how you can justify the pick. If we traded way down, maybe.
  10. I’m cool with it. This team is just so bad culturally and talent wise. Even if they overpay for FAs now it won’t really bite us because we need so many more good drafts to get back to something competitive. Signing a star D-lineman would help take some pressure off of the 1st pick to be defense or it would help make a drafted defender more effective.
  11. I love the Texas A&M DEs. I’d rather draft for size on the line and look to maybe add some journeyman stop gaps for pass rush specialists. Burns was a fine player but saying we need to replace him is asinine. He’s the cherry on top of a sundae that we never had. We need to build a foundation and depth before we draft a 250lb pass rush specialist that isn’t likely to be a generational talent.
  12. I know it’s par for the course but that’s all 100 percent speculation. Who knows what they do.
  13. I remember I had a blowout in a CVS that was so bad I heard someone approach the door and turn away cursing
  14. Can he play Sam or ILB? I don’t think you should compromise on measurables when drafting at 8. I don’t think he’ll pan out at Edge. Are we expecting him to be Robert Mathis? If he can hit that mark then sign me up.
  15. I’ll probably never trust him fully because I’ve seen how awful he can play so I’m fine not paying him unless he can prove it. you are better off extending the other guys now
  16. I don’t think it’s the worst draft in the world but this run defense is going to be terrible without a serious infusion of talent. I know BPA is always the way to go but if they don’t draft for need and sign some guys in FA the run defense will be bad again.
  17. That’s sad. Sounds like they don’t want him back at any price? Shaq was kind of a connection to the past. A good way to trace the history of the team. He played with Thomas Davis, who played with Dan Morgan and Mike Minter(who played with Sam Mills). While he wasn’t an all time GOAT I wish we had a little bit more sentimental touch to this departure.
  18. Everybody knew he was a perv way before the Browns took a shot. That’s why the Texans agreed to trade him In the first place.
  19. It’s ultimately damming to his decision making to even consider it and it’s indicative of the kind of person he is though. It really hurt my support of the team.
  20. For real. Let him use whatever mojo he has for the first round and never let him chase his tail on trades or touch the 2nd round.
  21. If he’s the best pick then so be it. I’d be happy with it. d line is obviously a bigger need and more impactful but you gotta get the right players
  22. Always happy to trade back. In the end if you hit wherever you draft it doesn’t matter. This team needs a lot of talent whether it’s superstars or role players
  23. I assume Tepper’s the one that pushed that stupid Wolf of Wall Street clip. Absolutely demented. Also the PA and music in general got much louder in the lower levels since Tepper started his ownership. I always enjoyed the music selection overall, thanks @musicman!
  24. I would get a large powered outdoor antenna and run coax into the house. I’m pretty happy with mine, I get local weather and sports when I need it.
