This story sounds familiar. Common denominator.....Thomas Brown. He might just be bad luck.

Just had Thanksgiving meal with a couple dozen family and friends. I lucked out and got one of the smoked turkey legs. Stuffing, mashed taters and gravy, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, kale, smoked ham, chicken and rice, corn, lima beans, cranberry sauce, and great people. My brother got his guitar out and we got to singing. Lots of actual conversations with people I hardly ever get to see, haven't seen in a while, or who I never met before. Just a great moment to remember.

Won't be as hard of a matchup as KC. Make of that what you want.

i think i go in the opposite direction of most. my ideal retirement is living in some old downtown area in a flat above some shop or something. life out in the country was just something i got real tired of. My kids actually miss some of living out there, which i understand. that was where they grew up for the most part. 40 acres with a 2.5 acre pond. it was beautiful, but also way too much (and too expensive) for me to keep up with.

Seriously, I think this is great. He's growing into the guy they need him to be. I hope he is anyways. Would be awesome.

Yep. Losing him and putting Ian Thomas on IR were big time boosts to the offense.

admittedly, that 75% is pushing it for me. but i really like what i've been seeing. he's passing my eye test. i'm hoping he can keep it up.

true, esp. about nnamdi. in oakland he was allowed to do his thing and dominated. then goes to philly playing zone and just struggles. he got paid, though.

i said what i did above before checking this out. it was pretty obvious. he never had a chance, imo. chiefs got in the refs ear about horn.

refs weren't letting him play. horn was targeted all game. that's the only way they stood a chance. horn otherwise would have shut them down.

first overall picks from last year and this year playing like they are first overall picks.

i don't have a complaint with this. my preference, though, is just go defense all draft, with the only real exception being if we see someone that can help beef up the depth on the OL you get that. not early necessarily, but try to add at least one body to the OL every year.

You keep him. You don't mess around with the OL if it's good. Add to the OL. Don't subtract.

well, the beginning of the season he wasn't moving the ball at all anywhere on the field. he's getting that straight. hoping he can get the other straight as well. i do know that red zone issues weren't just him, though. we were doing a lot of things wrong.

We had a problem years back with this thing going on so we banned them from taking place in the forums. What happens in DMs is different. Can't really control that but people were getting hella bent out of shape because of poo like that happening in the main forum. Just caused too much unnecessary drama.

People look at his stats and all they see is him doing the same. But this week he did it against the chiefs . People are overlooking that essential bit. So used to him looking mediocre at best against bad teams, even though he's been getting a good bit more confident each week. Truthfully, the chiefs should have slaughtered him and he should have had the WORST game of his career. That didn't happen. Why? Because maybe he's getting even better than we thought?
