  1. I replayed that one at least a dozen times the first time I saw it. Flat out amazing seeing that big guy run like that.
  2. That is borderline territory there, but if i'm hungry and desperate...boneless can carry the sauce.
  3. Those poor birds. I almost feel sorry for them. Actually, screw 'em. Worse fans in the world. Let the wallow in misery for the next decade.
  4. He's retired and has millions to live off of. Why not take a break for a while?
  5. Raise your hand, everyone, if you think David newton can tell the difference between resigned and re-signed. Of course probably only half the crowd probably knows this and the other half didn't and thinks I'm a grammar nazi for noticing and pointing it out.
  6. Eventually, but it could be argued we weren't ok with him here. We knew he wouldn't stay forever. We'll start winning again soon.
  7. aka @FootballCzar of Football Gameplan (FBGP) And btw, apparently he's working for CBS now. Congrats to him if he swings by.
  8. After what we've been through for years and years I could hardly blame you. I'll tell you I 100% believe those days are over and this team is being managed the best it has ever been. You obviously aren't there yet, but just remember...it's ok to feel optimistic about the direction we are taking and its ok to have a little faith in the guys running the team It will make this off-season a whole lot more fun. Better to have faith/optimisim and then be disappointed than to never have it at all.
  9. The biggest problem and the thing that will hold someone back is thinking there is only one path and feeling that a veering off that path could possibly result in failure so it should be avoided. Come in with an open mind and realize that regrets and mistakes are always a possibility and you live with it. They picked the best players on their board and a mistake would have been fixated on QB or LT regardless of talent skipped over on the board. And CB is absolutely crucial when facing elite receiving competition...regardless of the perceived value by some in the "modern" nfl.
  10. I think it absolutely does have to do with a myopic view that many of these pundits/draft hacks have on the team and what they decided we should do. If they are incapable of stepping back and seeing the big picture, then they are going to grade us poorly. Basically it's small minded people who are going to look at the fact we didn't draft a QB or an OT in the first couple rounds and see it as a fail.
  11. I'll be fine with Morgan coming in. I hope he gets the job. Glad we're trying to get him. And we'll be ok without Luke here.
  12. totally agree about the D helping him out. Having consistently good field position and the opponent's score being kept in check will definitely help take pressure off him and the passing game.
  13. *sigh* already did. the hot tub jets aren't working that well anymore either. and don't get me started about the manicures. my cuticles are a mess.
  14. that's just weird. i'm gonna bring it up in the mod forum.
  15. totally agreed. that should be about his floor...well...i'd bump the INTs up a little more. he's got a bit of gunslinger in him. but i'm ok with that as long as we are winning and he's around a 2:1 TD INT ratio.
