  1. and remember....we play the cowboys in December which is when they usually fall apart. and to @CRA's point above, i think the same could be/could have been said for most of the teams on that schedule. lots of teams are looking pretty bad that usually don't. at this point i think it's anyone's game....including ours. it just doesn't look like there is anyone, especially in the NFC that is just standing out as super dominant except for maybe the vikings(!?!?!?!?). if we play like we did this last week, i think that my prediction of 8-9 wins might be on the conservative side just because our schedule doesn't likes it's full of teams that are playing at a high level.
  2. I'm trying to not go nuts with the optimism, but from what we've seen from other teams on the schedule and how ours looked Sunday...how do you think we fair? Which teams do you afraid of and which teams do you view differently now compared to when you first saw the schedule? bengals (0-3) bears (1-2) falcons (1-2) commanders (2-1) broncos (1-2) saints (2-1) giants (1-2) chiefs (3-0) bucs (2-1) cowboys (1-2) cards (1-2)
  3. not sure i care as long as he keeps giving us a chance to play competitive football. with that said....i think we can go into the chiefs game having only lost 1 or 2 games with him driving.
  4. not a #1 or #2, but Levis is likely to get benched soon. where BY was playing too scared and small, Levis is just reckless to a huge fault. i think he's only 1 more TD than pick 6 this year. it's not like he's being big and bold, it's like he's making panic tosses.
  5. we could try looking ahead to try and pick out who would be another QB that Canales could work with....
  6. ...and the red rocket's glare the ball flew through the air gave proof through the game that we're pounding again
  7. i know we don't have any rings....but....you know we had some good years and some great players. it's been a minute, but you know it hasn't always been bad.
  8. yeah i wouldn't hate this at all. if he really has a knack for getting QBs with a few years of experience to perform at a level they never actually reached, but had the potential to reach...then that could be what we work with for a while. as long as we're winning, i don't care how we pull it off at QB.
  9. i agree. he's not worn down. he's been a back up for several years so his old guy mileage is low. i think he can last a few years, long enough for us to find a longer term solution @ QB.
  10. we had traded the 2nd round pick for Darnold. we just didn't have much draft ammo left. we got who we could get because fitterer was in on every deal. even at that...we had to trade up to get Corral and i think we were lucky to be able to trade up even that far.
  11. even with those issues...i'll take them over the poo show we had last year. overall they've done well and have been getting better. we fall for stunts, but i think we'll get better at recognizing them.
  12. i give rex an 'F'....as in fug off..
  13. the whole team was playing at a much higher energy than i've seen in a long time. loved it.
  14. i'm pretty excited about this matchup. i feel like we're fired up pretty well. makes sense that we've got a QB whose hair is on fire.
  15. rex ryan has always been a loud mouth and bruschi has some mental issues going on.
  16. loved watching all of them. didn't notice that chase down by hunt, though. very nice.
  17. Nope.... we're deciding now. No time for wussing out.
