Over Rhule... Ummm... Yes. Please yes. Unless we have to trade for him. -
Panthers eyeing Sean Payton post Rhule?

So we'd have to wait until 2025 to get him? Yikes. I've only got so much time on this earth. I should hope we'd love quicker than that, but who knows.....Tepper might be a long term dumbass where Rhule is concerned. -

Tarik Cohen - Letters to my Younger Self
rayzor replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
And just in case anyone wasn't paying attention, in addition to getting a local guy who has been through the ringer and still keeps pushing, we'd be getting a player capable of this : Definitely worth watching and even more worth bringing in. -

Tom Brady taking what should have been Greg Olsen's spot

Kids don't know and if Brady sticks, younger kids just getting into football won't really know any better. Brady could end up being a new standard, which is unfortunate. -
A Panther Fan's Reaction to the 2021-2022 Season

With the exception of me being happy we got Corral, pretty much everything was dead on. -
I fixed the damn title.

No, i know who was responsible and one of them is still here. control of personnel was given to someone who had no business being in control of it.

How do you know a franchise doesn't have a clue what they're doing? Top 5 in dead cap space.

Lol imagine being so pathetic that you freak out and feel it necessary to blast everyone for not wanting to listen to tom brady. He's a boring annoying putz that's been coddled for years by the NFL, the media, and apparently by some fans as well. Just when you think one Brady era is almost over, we have to start another one. Tis goat needs to be taken out to pasture, tied up, and left. -

i thought they were getting rid of it. they should. it's worthless and completely unnecessary.

I ran head first into that paywall

of course gettleman wanted him and was the only one that wanted him after we let him go. he's the clown that drafted him and 2 other CBs after he cut josh norman loose. we drafted him only after everyone else that we were hoping for was gone. someone in here who had a source in or close to the war room told a few of us that everyone they wanted was gone and their plan had gone down the crapper so be prepared to hear the name of some small school CB you've never heard of announced. one or two minutes later we hear his name. pure desperation move.

Sigh. (It hurts when you see it pointed out like that)

i remember how hard this team worked to return to any sense of home field advantage. sure didn't last long. -

some will ask, "are you saying that Corral is as good as Wilson? Is that why he should start as a rookie?" but Seattle didn't know how good Wilson was until they put him on the field. We aren't going to know what he can handle unless they give him something to handle. Put him in and see what we've got. Like you said...we already know how sammy is when the pressure is on. Everything has to be ideal for him to do well. Nothing stays ideal for long.
-
yeah, i think they'll give sammy a chance (which they should just roll with whoever shows themselves to have command of the offense and steps up as a leader in TC and in preseason games), but sammy will probably get a few games to see if he can do better with an improved OL and OC calling the shots. but i'm also hoping they have a really critical eye and keep sammy on a short leash. he shows the first sign of seeing ghosts or skittishness and we yank him out and put Corral in.
-
We definitely have options. I think BC is the easy answer for LG long term, but Mays could be that guy too. Or he could put in a challenge for center? I don't know. I just know it's good to finally have decent options and a good OL coach. i just hope that we can get long term contracts for Bozeman and Corbett. We need not just talent on that OL, but we need a group of guys who will be together for several years. Yes, we definitely need to get someone working beside Icky long term, but we need to get that whole line in there long term as well. 5 guys who can dominate as a unit and a few guys who can fill in with little being noticed.
