  1. Would actually love to see Hartline signed. But, I don't know how much interest he would have coming here. No information at all, just seems like Belicheck will now pick him up and torture the Dolphins with him for the next couple of years.
  2. The dress is both. Are there people who really don't see both? Oh...and congrats Lilsmitty!
  3. It's hard to fault anyone for going home, especially a guy who may be in the twilight of his career. Not like a return man is likely to play into his mid 30s or at least be in demand. Would love to have Ginn back here, but if he goes home, all attention on to Jacoby and the draft.
  4. Maybe semantics, but Riddick took his role, sure. Reggie was the starter in 2013 though, Bell the starter in 14, and then Riddick took over for Bush/took 3rd downs away from Bell for much of the year. No I'm not a disgruntled Bell fantasy owner or anything.
  5. No to him here as I'm sure it comes up. He was solid 2 years ago, but Bell took his job and he couldn't stay healthy. He'll have his moments still, but no where near consistent enough to be worth the injury problems.
  6. He comes here, stars protecting Cam's blindside, movie sequel. Done and done.
  7. Well, there was a "rumor" awhile back of some texts that were supposedly Dez that could "out" him for some things. Maybe the video isn't domestic violence related, but something else that would cause bigger ripples around the league.
  8. We obviously won't have 60 million in 2016 after re-signing/extending some guys, but just for giggles, some guys who may be FA in 2016... WR - Julio, AJ Green, Brian Quick, Alshon, Hilton LT - Trent Williams, Nate Solder, Anthony Castonzo, Russel Okung, Cordy Glenn, Riley Reiff DL - (Tho some may not fit scheme) Muhammad Wilkerson, Cameron Jordan, Fletcher Cox, Chandler Jones, DT - Plenty, but we're good it seems Secondary - J. Joseph, Weddle, Leon Hall, Eric Berry, Stephon Gilmore, Janoris Jenkins Sure, some non scheme fits (for now) there, and some guys getting older. However, it could be a good time to be flush with cap space.
  9. And yeah, not a test movie. Youtube clearly says it's just a fan film
  10. RR said he didn't want it I thought? Also, I need a "not the size of the boat" option on Poll 2. Thanks.
  11. It will be. June 1st cuts aren't cut on June 1st.
  12. Thanks for the memories, DWill, but it had to happen. Live off that Hurney money and go do something with WWE now
  13. Wouldn't mind Fisher at all at 25, since I doubt he drops to us in the 2nd. A trade back is obviously the pie in the sky move that never happens, but grabbing an athletic OT with a mean streak, who has experience at both RT and LT, who has worked with a running QB? Sounds good to me. Remmers, Vet FA, Fisher (those 3 battle it out for RT/LT), another OT rookie, and (gulp) Bell as a backup is probably the best we're going to do heading into next season.
  14. Any clue on other players who Cook represents? Just shaddup, take a fair contract for both sides (it's going to be huge regardless), and your back will be scratched down the road with other clients the team is interested in. I already hate this whole contract fiasco though. I feel like it's going to drag out right up to the season, and then one side gives in. So how about it just miraculously get done like today? Please?
  15. And he wasn't wrong per se about it jumping...he just spent money in the wrong places, obviously. The salary cap by year...with it expected to hit 138-140 this year. Basically, 15-20 million every 4-5 years, and record TV deals continuing to flow in to increase it. Obviously things can change...but using some quick estimations based on the past, the cap "should" trend to 150-160 million in 4 years. Not to mention as already pointed out, franchise QBs will be making 20-25 across the league at that point, if they aren't already in many cases. 2014 $133 million 2013 $123 million 2012 $120.6 million 2011 $120 million 2010 Uncapped 2009 $123 million 2008 $116 million 2007 $109 million 2006 $102 million 2005 $85.5 million 2004 $80.582 million 2003 $75.007 million 2002 $71.101 million 2001 $67.405 million 2000 $62.172 million 1999 $57.288 million 1998 $52.388 million 1997 $41.454 million 1996 $40.753 million 1995 $37.1 million 1994 $34.608 million
  16. 1. The cap is jumping, and will continue to jump. Say by 2020, it very well could be up 15-20 million (if not more) than what it is now. 2. EVERY franchise QB in the league from here out, will be making 20 million plus. They used to make a million, then someone out did someone and it became 5, then 7, then 10...you get the picture. Same thing is playing out here. 5 years from now, QBs going rates very well may be 25-30, not 20-25. 3. Cam is getting paid, and frankly if he doesn't, we're fuged (for a few years at least). Unless you're cool with hitting the jackpot again in the draft (not likely), or signing a Jay Cutler type guy for 18-20 million instead of Cam at 23-25. I'm not. Pay the man.
  17. The ice/cold temps finally "broke" my car today. Even with the ignition/car off, the HVAC fan runs until the battery is disconnected. Seems it's an issue for Tahoes in cold weather says Google. So, thanks, ice. Usually I love Winter, but get me to Spring already.
  18. Smells funny. But I'd imagine he'd let team doctors take a look closer to the draft. If not, fall far enough and keep him home in North Carolina.
  19. Tempting in the 1st? Doubt it. Now, if he magically fell to the 2nd? Yes.
  20. If he had a 2nd round grade on him, I'd feel better about it. At 25? Mehhhh. I wouldn't hate it, because I'd have faith in DG and the locker room to keep him straight, but it would be a scary pick. We either instantly have the best young WR combo in the league, or we look back in a couple years knowing we wasted a 1st rounder. Faith in Gettleman, but that said, I can't see JR giving the green light.
  21. A few nice ones in the link. The Chargers powder blues and most teams with the white helmet/big logo look nice to me for some reason. It would be cool if we had an alternate helmet, even only as a promotional thing...but as little as we use the black pants, I can't see us ever changing the helmet up.
  22. I love places that let me create my own omelette, even though they end up costing 15 bucks or so. Throw in bacon, sausage, ham, potatoes, onions, maybe something green...and give me a side of hashbrowns with black coffee. If I need an old favorite that's quick, sausage gravy biscuit and a side of bacon. Also, for those saying livermush...may God have mercy on your souls. I know it's a mountain thing, but good lord it's nasty to me.
