Devil Stomping Ground

I have heard of the last two you mentioned. I heard that Devil's Stomping Ground is exaggerated big time but I'm sure as hellnot spending the night up there to try and disprove it.

I second Devil's Stomping Ground.  Went there with my cousins and were freaked out (just because we knew the story.

I know you said NC, but The Grey Man down in Pawleys is a great legend.

I have heard of The Grey Man at Pawleys. I heard that entire island is a haunted house. If you are someone who believes in the supernatural and poo like that, places like the NC/SC coasts are certainly places that could harbor a lot of negative energy. Pirates, slavery, the Civil War, the Revolutionary war, etc.

I've only seen the brown mountain lights

My mom is from that area of NC and has talked about this plenty of times.

Also, I've heard that the Cajun Queen over there in Elizabeth is haunted.

I also have a friend who 10-12 years l older than I am, but he used to manage the building on East Blvd that is now known as JJ's Red Hots. It wasn't called this when he worked there (it's been several different places over the past decade) but he's told me a bunch of times that crazy, unexplained poo happened there, especially when they were closed. Restaurants can be creepy places when they are closed and no one is in there.

A family friend was going to work on that amityville horror house. Him and his brother walked in there and ran out 30 seconds later. Said they heard the creepiest noises. Footsteps upstairs, little girls laughing.

This guy isn't a weirdo but I don't believe in that stuff but I don't know what to believe

Stellar responses, guys...I'd love to hear that demon story too (though I don't believe in such things, ghosts included.)

You my friend, need to watch some Ghost Aventures. Every skeptic is turned to a believer.
