I feel like KB is more if a luxury pick. He isn't an all around WR just yet compared to others that were available such as Lee, Robinson, lattimore etc. yes he has size, hopefully our coaching can fine tune his skill set.

Without watching them play a down.....you knew Andrew Luck and Blaine Gabbert didn't have the same bust risk.

This kid could be a stud but his bust odds seem very high.

Let's bring it closer to home...

You and I may have been solidly in the draft Cam camp, and while I can't speak for you, it's true I had very serious questions about what kind of QB Gabbert would be. It was painfully obvious his pocket presence sucked, and yet guys like Mayock and many other experts liked him more than Cam.

Many, many people hammered KC for taking workout wonder Dontari Poe. Who got the last laugh on that one? Why did Alshon slip last year? How about A Rod?

The point is, no one knows for sure. Draft grades are meaningless until the players take the field. I love the KB pick, but assigning a grade at this point seems kind of futile.

    • Unfortunately you just can't get through to some of these folks. The most successful season in Panthers history our #1 WR was Ted Ginn Jr who had just as many bone headed drops as he did highlight touchdowns. We already have the highest paid OL in the league two years running. We need a balanced roster more than anything else clearly.

I think it would be like getting two for the price of one really allowing us to feel more holes getting a wide receiver and another spot filled for nothing but two or three draft spots.
    • I saw a mock draft where Monroe Freeling falls to the Panthers at 19 and if that happens they'd better rush their card to the podium.
