Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs

Really?

Like who?

Jordan wasn't known for being cocky (until he got inducted into the HOF), Kobe doesn't exactly scream cockiness, KD is one of the humblest people in the NBA.

There is a reason most NBA greats don't respect LBJ, it's because he doesn't respect them.

Kobe is not cocky? Really? No wait are you serious? Kobe at his peak was/is still cocky.

MJ was from my recollection but it was never a big deal cuz he ALWAYS backed up his actions and was a god on the court.

Players like Shaq, Barkley, Reggie Miller, Garnett, Karl Malone etc all demonstrated cockiness in their career.

Spurs fans must have a love hate relationship with Manu.

Sent from my SCH-I535 using CarolinaHuddle mobile app

I'm not a Spurs but I love Manu's game and I definitely agree with that. I think that's part of what makes him so fun to watch.

I've seen Kobe play live and the guy does not radiate or personify cockiness at all. When he's playing, he's all business. If he hits a shot, he runs back on defense... If he gets fouled, he doesn't complain, he runs back on defense.

As where you have LBJ who hits a shot and he's got his little celebration to do lol.

And lol at MJ being cocky, that man was nothing but professional on the basketball court. Off it, he had some problems but on it he was nothing but professional.

As for those other guys, they were all great basketball players but trying to put them on MJ's, Kobe's, and LBJ's level is laughable.

Seriously....you're in a boxing match with one hand behind your back with this argument. Do the noble thing and give up.

    • I’ll see what Dan’s picks do this year but if it’s another lackluster class, we’re cooked, probably the biggest reason this team has suck for so long is the guys we’ve had at GM  bust and failed trades left and right
    • The more you look ahead Look ahead to the future son You realize the shrimp is gone And there’s plenty little fish beyond That boy fluttered like Bubba in Vietnam So run, run, run Forest, run Bryce Young sucks, just look beyond -Napoleon
    • Honestly, 2020 and 2021 were the years we sat on our asses like idiots. First being 2020.  Love may have been the one we missed out on with a trade down or a trade up from our 2nd pick.  And Hurts was a totally viable 2nd rounder to take a flier on after going DB. Love in particular was one of those top guys pre-college season, but he had a lot of TOs his last year and some iffy decision making pegged him back by scouts. If we hired a staff with a decent plan and vision (instead of Rhule and whatever he wanted to do) willing to groom him behind a vet, that may have been the money bet.  2021, it was Fields.  We could've tried him on for size, even if it didn't work, it would have put us in position to draft a QB in 2024. It all sucks.  We chased.
