Started season 2 yesterday.

 

Another good Netflix series to check out is "The Fall."

Seems like females really dig it. I tried to watch the first season with my gf but I really couldn't get into it. This coming from somebody that likes poo like Drop Dead Diva and New Girl.

Haven't seen the show. Can someone explain to me why every girl on social media is obsessed with it?

 

Some of these girls are pretty annoying, so it makes me hesitant to think it might be good.

It's a drama. It's MAYBE a dark comedy. But it's not action, not mystery, not a thriller. It's HBO's Oz, but with women and without the rape and brutal violence. There are decent characters you come to like, and the plot is pretty good. That's the show, nothing more nothing less. So I don't know why women rave about it. Maybe because it's "Oz, but with women"? Guys loved Oz. So, I guess women love OITNB. It's not even in my top ten of favorite shows but I keep watching because it's pretty damn decent. If you want action, look elsewhere. Comedy, look elsewhere. A good story? Watch.

It is a dramedy like Louie or Rescue Me. Season 2 was better than 1.

It's a weird quirky funny.  Great dialogue and the acting overall is superb.  I enjoy it.

I just finished watching the season 2 finale. Fair warning its 90 minutes long but its god damn good. I don't know how they wrapped everything up so easily.
