What the hell is wrong with women?!

WHELP, go ahead and put me in the minority category for age group 25-29......even higher minority category if le bf is out of town.

You're not a freak......lots of women do masturbate and just don't admit it, I wonder if that played a part in the women they polled.

Lots of women also assume that if they are doing that, it means there is lacking somewhere else in the relationship.

Neither are true in my opinion, you can only learn more about yourself which in turn helps you to help your significant other in many ways, one of which is getting you off faster. If you don't know your body and what you like, how can he?

On a side note- do guys really not talk about sex/sex related topics? My bf went to a bachelor party this weekend and I told him his project was to nonchalantly talk to the guys about what they do and what their girls like. I was hoping this would open his mind about things we do and to realize that everyone likes to get freaky in the bedroom in one way or another. After a few drinks, of course, once everyone is a bit loosened up.

His response to that was 'guys don't talk about that kind of stuff'.....

is that for real? b/c I can confidently say that when I'm with my girlfriends and we have a couple drinks, the topic that is always front and center is sex, foreplay, men, etc.

Plus, after reading everything you guys put on this forum, its hard to believe it never comes up.

I'm afraid it's true Boo... guys generally don't talk about such things with each other.  I think it's partly because it's felt it's not "manly" to ask for advice or whatever in that arena, and also it's generally taboo to discuss your buddy's wife/gf/SO in a sexual manner.

I can't ever recall a conversation with a male friend where I've said something to the effect of... "wow, your wife is hot, to you guys enjoy oral?"

Just not happening...

It probably should...  when my kids are to the point where they have regular relations I plan to give advice about such things... but that's a tad different than talking to your buds about it.

Maybe watch some instructional porn?

It must be different when guy and girl friends talk as opposed to just guys then. Or maybe my friends are crazy.

No, I think men will spill stuff to other women like they won't to their guy friends.  I don't have a good answer as to why, it's just weird talking to other guys about sex.

Some guys will think you are hitting on them if you talk about sex in a real and frank way.

I used to have friend who told me everything about his sex life.

Now he's married my cousin and i do not want to hear it.

especially weird for masturbation.  men talk about sexual encounters but i cant recall any conversations about jerkin off.  it really isnt interesting(the conversation) i think to most guys.
