If you read the essay, it is really well done. I've always been a Bron fan, and thd decision and subsequent Miami years were tough to stomach. This just feels right. And for all of the crap he has gotten for supposedly being "arrogant," this is a classy, humble homecoming.

Kind of.  It was an easy decision.  Better team and way more money.  I wouldn't say it was a humble decision or anything.  He knows they'll get Love to play and they'll have a nice team build around him.   Just saying, it's not like he's going to his home team to play with nobodies and build them up.

LeBron's essay shows such maturity...anybody hating him at this point is silly IMO. Good on LBJ, good for Cleveland. Kyrie, Love (it's happening), and LBJ will be nice and potentially/probably the favorites...but Kyrie and Love's injury history would've scared me a little.

Ps, saying Love because he didn't even mention Wiggins in his SI article...trade is happening.

Ehh, but it isn't like he's teaming up with two other alpha dogs either. Kyrie has done nothing. Getting Love is likely, but not guaranteed. It also took a lot of guts to walk away from Miami now, as their bandwagon fans can now claim he's a coward for walking away. There's just something about him returning home to finish his career, and he and Gilbert mending fences, that should be admired, IMO. And I would say the way he announced it is indeed humble... It also shows perspective, considering how his advisors stupidly setup "The Decision" the first time around, and yet, he was the only one that had to live with the consequences.

    • I never needed stats to tell me how a player is doing. I watch every snap and if they have more bad plays than good plays that is all I need to see. Young has more bad than he has good, by a wide margin.  He was going to need to overcome an overwhelming size disadvantage coming into the league. He had to lead a dysfunctional, talentless team and turn it around. He had no chance and somehow the FO overlooked all of that. The fact that the odds of it being remotely successful were 1000:1 is all the reason you need. Tepper made his fortune taking gambles like this but that is in finance, you don't do that in football.
    • Ty for posting this. People who have been paying attention can see Canales' fingerprints all over Bryce this season. Last season Bryce would be 15 yards deep at the top of his drop. This game he was a consistent 7-10 yards. The big takeaway for me is that DC seems to have simplified the game for Bryce. I noticed that BY9 only operated one half of the field. When the ball is on the outside hash (short side), his game is geared more to the boundary. Multiple patterns and deep outside shots. When the ball is placed on the inside hash (wide side), it's virtually all in-breaking or smoke routes and\or deep shots. Most of his over the middle passes are executed from a deep drop. I really do not think he can see the field. I think DC has tried to mitigate it as best he can, but there simply are physical limitations that cannot be ignored in this league. I do not think he can execute fully, DC's offense. I think DC is frustrated and damn near over the BY9 era.
    • If the other guy didn't try to have someone murdered, Xavier Legette would easily be the worst draft pick this franchise has ever spent on a WR.
