Man, Orlando is still making good use of that cap space they freed up I see. Nelson and Afflalo turn into Fournier, Ben Gordon, Frye (on a ridiculous overpay), and Ridnour.

is it me or wouldn't you rather has Nelson and Afflalo than that rag-tag bunch of guys if you wanted to compete?

guessing they want to tank for another year..

He was being sarcastic.

I'd think if they wanted to tank that they wouldn't throw that kind of cash around on multi year deals. I think they're just stupid

Damn, all we got is Lance Stephenson.

For a split second I almost got depressed. I'm so conditioned to seeing poo free agency periods between the hornets and panthers I forgot that LS is the fuggin tits!

Then I got excited again!!!!!

    • I'd love to have Eli as our QB. He was a proven baller in the playoffs, and still a legit franchise QB who was better than the majority of the league in the regular season. Honestly the Giants didn't build many great teams around him. Put him in a beneficial situation like Belichick, Reid, Tomlin, etc. run and he could've won more than 2 SBs if you ask me. He was on a lot of bad teams, like really bad teams, throughout his career.   Hell, swap him in for Rivers in the mid-late aughts and I bet he gets the Chargers a SB. Still think that whole draft situation was bullshit and lost respect for Eli there, but whatever.
    • Yeah but if you are talking about something like an extremely rarely used or needed play like a QB sneak, it's already a pretty off the rails argument. That doesn't factor in enough to W's and L's to be something that is particularly relevant.  If you want to talk overall arm strength, field vision, footwork, consistency, athleticism, etc on Bryce, those are all valid critiques of his game and why he hasn't been successful. But the oddball obsessions about pretty meaningless aspects are a bit bizarre. QB sneaks? Not enough 40+ yard passes? Workout regimen?? Guys....there is ample stuff to criticize without this kind of nonsense.
    • Im not saying he should, but its one more play that's off the table. Do you think the eagles would be as good without the QB sneak?
