Jake gets boos at fan fest

Here's video I took at Fan Fest, you can hear the boo's on Jake's incomplete pass. Sorry for the shaky picture and piss-poor narration. It's a new camera and I was trying to figure out the zoom, and I was dealing with two kids at the same time. :D

While only an idiot would boo at Fan Fest, the fans are not going to let Jake forget that playoff game against Arizona. But I agree with what others have said - once he has his first solid outing, people will move on.

Great video! More proof that we have the worst fans in the NFL.

Eagle fans are mean but they have one of the most passionate fan bases in the league hands down. I wish panther fans could be the same only without the violence.

Contribute or get out.

Everyone knows how you feel.

If you call passion fighting each other even before the game starts....then ok, I accept that response.....other wise, you are full of sh1t!

I witnessed this first hand at the playoff game we had with the Iggles on the way to the Super Bowl.

All over the place, fighting each other, and the game had not even started. Not to mention the hell I was catching for being in full Carolina gear.

I left unscathed, but the memories will last a lifetime, and some of those Iggle fans that were fighting each other.....well....not sure of their well being.

:cheers2:

Notice I said "without the violence". If you dont think the Eagles have a hardcore fan base then you must not be paying attention.

No...if you would PAY ATTENTION, what they have is not passion, it's pure stupidity plain and simple. Since when does stupidity equal hardcore, or passion?

That is what I was explaining......but according to you, nobody pays attention except you.

Oh great one you are.......thanks for blessing us with your wonderful, passionate, tearful visits.

Exactly, most of them barely have high school educations, if you look at the natives in the city of Philly. I think of all the NFL cities, that is the lowest percentage of college grads. Second, they really don't have anything else to care about. Their fat ugly wives, dumb ass kids and unfulfilling jobs. Yea, Sundays do sound great don't they?

Oh, they really showed their asses draft day when McNabb was picked up. Does anyone remember who those morons wanted to pick that year?

No offense to any here, but you guys who say you are not a carolina panthers fan for booing Jake Delhomme have no right to do so. It IS their right and it is NOT uncalled for or NOT CLASSY as some of you suggest. Anyone who talks about CLASS probably just sits at a game and claps softly, never yelling at an official for making a bad call because you are worried about your ....... CLASS. Bah. THAT is not a real fan of anything imo, other than themselves.

For YEARS we have had to deal with, "Well Jake is all we got" fans when the team itself has refused to deal with the issue. But has anyone thought of this .......

If you go back and watch any of the games, you can watch every reciever the panthers have, including Smitty, drop alot of balls that Jake Delhomme has thrown. Jake cant help that.

If you go back you will see that our offensive line just got beat up and put Delhommes face in the ground. He cant help that because he runs a 10.9, 40 yard dash. I mean we know he cant run so it is our offensive lineman's job to stop them.

Let us go back to last year's playoff game. Come on. 5 interceptions? I dont believe for a second that it was Jake Delhomme's fault for all 5. It seems to me that sometimes, when the O coordinator has made his call, that Jake better follow it to the letter or he will hear about it. Im willing to bet 4 out of 5 interceptions was actually the cordinators fault and NOT Jake's.

The only thing in my mind that was his fault was the fumble. You should never let a ball hang that low and away from your body like that as a QB.

I think they signed him because HE IS a good QB and that alot of the bad plays he makes is because of the coaching.

IM willing to give him another chance because , sometimes, he is absolutely amazing.

Maybe we just need a better offensive coordinator or something. :)

I don't think Jake Delhomme is the kind of guy that would take this to heart. If anything, he'll use it as motivation to get up and impress the fans again. I'm not worried.

It's not like this is a Kyle Orton situation, where the QB hasn't even proven to himself yet that he can win. Jake will be fine.
