When he enters the Pro Football Hall of Fame, I hope he is wearing Panther colors.

Smitty spent his whole career here the good and the bad. The superbowl run and the 2-14 days he was the face and leader of this team and put up HOF stats better than Michael Irvin mostly on bad teams. WE cut him and he's all of the sudden dead to you all?

He is THE Carolina Panther in my eyes: tough, ferocious, and still going hard after all this time.

Everything that he's doing and saying in Baltimore that pisses me off is the same reason we all loved him here. I hope he gets the numbers he's after. The man deserves to be the1st or 2nd Panther in the HoF (along with Kevin Greene...whenever that happens)

As long as he does not say something bad about Panthers I will continue to root for him, he has been part of this team to long and has done to much for the team and fans for me not too.

 

 

Oh he will....if he is asked about G-man for some reason, I don't think he will be able to hold back but my guess is that it will be a subtle shot at Cam that will turn this place into a raging inferno.

Except you don't do it to your own teammates. I'm sure Steve will do fine with the Ravens. They knew what they were getting and unlike his Panther's status, he's a short term rental. His name isn't etched in stone in the locker room.

Smitty has a few years left he'll retire a panther and go into the HOF as one of the best WR's in the game.
