It's not this 1 game. I've been against the tag since it was given. We have had plenty of talent at DE. He was very replaceable.

Yes we have talent, but I dont know if they can completely replace what Hardy did last season. I think our entire dline can or can cover him missing, just like when CJ went down last year. You can't completely overlook what Hardy did last game. Him and Short played the best out of our oline

Our talent can replace Hardy well enough so that we can use that extra 13 mil to strengthen our other weaknesses. Now we are 1 starting DE and 13 mil short for what looks like over half of the season now.

I agree, buts its a give and take. We franchised him, we didn't know he would soon run into a legal issue. We're still 2-0 and with him we're even stronger

But the thing is even if he didn't have the legal issue, it was still a dumb move. I would love to have an extra 13 mil. Imagine our offense with a stronger oline. We could've signed 2 solid starters at least with that money on the line. I can only hope that DG has learned from this and doesn't make the same mistake with other players in the future.

It is sad that media morons, who are months late to the story, can cause so much negative hype abut a situation they know so little about that the team deactivates a guy at the last minute.  I was going to be proud our team didn't cava to that crap...there goes that.

I don't even care how this affects the team football wise. To me the more important issue is that a man has been railroaded without evidence and denied his right to due process, and Jerry Richardson facilitated this due to some talking heads in the media.

Yeah that is really disappointing. They lied to us all week about "due process". I feel a little bit betrayed.

Best decision. Sit hardy for a game. Media gets off our ass and then we move on with football.

The media is not going to let us play Hardy at all.  If we sat him for this game, we have to sit him until his trial is resolved.  Which it's been said his trial probably won't be had until after the season.  The Panthers need to go ahead and cut him now.  Richardson bowed out.
