I am proud to see our WR's doing what not many expected, even if it is early in the season.  Kudos to Cam and Derek for spreading the  ball around and giving them chances. Even with KB having an off day today Cam gave him back to back chances and well....we saw the result.

Greg Olsen: 6 / 72yds.

Jason Avant: 5 / 54 yds. 1 TD

Jerricho Cotchery 4 / 46 yds.

Kelvin Benjamin 2 / 46 yds.  (and he will only get better)

Cam was impressive today considering he didn't have much chemistry with his WR's during the offseason. Imagine when they get that chemistry down pat.

 

 

Benjamin showed us why he is still a rookie today, but he also gave us that WOW moment with that terrific one hand catch. He will have his growing pains this season but he will only get better from it.

I said I give them to week 3 to fully judge. So far they've answered the call. I never once said they'll suck, but cotchery is making me eat crow for his preseason disappearance and how I was getting on him

I also forgot to mention the TD pass where he couldn't get his feet in. THAT was monstrous as well given the circumstances.

If our WRs keep playing like this as well as our secondary, I hope and pray Gettleman doesnt make the same mistake in cutting guys like Avant, Cason and Cotchery as well as Roman and Decoud. Our secondary lookes amazing

The guys they replaced haven't done much for their new teams, at least when it comes to receptions. Steve Smith has done well, but Lafell and Ginn haven't done much for the passing game of their new teams.  Its still early, but so far the new corps is definitely an upgrade.

Cam still developing chemistry...It was a setback for Cam to get over the ankle and ribs. I thought he improved a good bit as the game progressed today.

Teddy did have a punt return for a TD, but yeah. I never really got all the doom and gloom coming into this season. It was a lot of turnover, but it wasn't the guys we had last year weren't replaceable.

This year is hopefully going to be an exciting one!!
