Man ESPN really pisses me off

As much as ESPN and the media blew the Lions dick this week, they threw the game under the bus as we were dominant. Watching Primetime Sportscenter (still grasping for old school NFL Primetime), our highlights finally came up. And instead of hearing insight, which i was looking forward to from Tom Jackson, they show the TD and then it turned to Hardy. I really think we could win the Super Bowl, and it would just be an afterthought. Either way, my thought on Hardy, cut his ass. Today proved we don't need him, and it's just a sad reaffirmation that we could have gotten offensive line help, which is clearly needed as our guards are terrible, but he surely won't be playing here after this year, if even by the end of the season. Point is, today was a fantastic win, and it further proves in my mind that we are the best team in the NFL right now.

Anyone who has actually read one of Tony Dungy's books knows that he's the furthest thing away from a douche.

Then again, there is a good chance that less than 25% of the posters on this board can actually read.

Everybody's entitled to their opinion, and mine is that Tony Dungy is a class act. He knows his football too.

    • Bryce just didn't maximize Hunter Renfrow's skills. ***rant incoming*** But this isn't just about Bryce Young mistiming passes to Renfrow so bad that he's going to get Renfrow killed or hurt, this is also about incompetentence by Dave Canales. Renfrow can still play. He's putting DBs in a blender out there---making them play twister at the top of routes to keep up with him, and dumb Dave has the nerve to cut him. How about putting Hunter in the best position to help the damned offense by appreciating his skill set, DC? You're letting Bryce's apparent inability to make an accurate throw, or at least his timidity to push the ball down the damned field cloud your judgment and miscalculate talent---or maybe just miss on talent just as much as Bryce misses passes due to playing pussified football. It's fúcking unacceptable.  Speaking of misjudgment, I don't know if it's Dan Morgan or Canales, but Eijiro Evero is not the business at DC. I have said a few times that his scheme is not conducive to run-stopping efficiency. Hell, and after watching some clips of plays, now I absolutely know why. The gaps are at least half open before the play even fúcking starts. You are setting the opposition's RBs up for success with too much damned space at the line and in the second level. If our guys are taken out in these areas---at the line and in the second level---then the defense is screwed because it must rely on the safeties to cover too much ground to make the tackle. At least put Ransom in who is motivated to seek and destroy if you're going to effectively leave the safeties on an island.  And speaking of rookies, get our two new defensive ends more snaps to see if we can't generate more of a pass rush. For all the good the continued sorry display of defense that you're putting out for fan's to see (Ejiro, Dave and Dan), you may as well get the rookies generously involved. Fúck that money we gave second-rate (maybe second-rate) vets, we need a damned spark getting after the QB. Watch it, it's just another breakdown of the sh¡t we were subjected to last week. I say this with all respect: Fúck you, Dave! Fúck you, Dan! Learn how to run a fúcking franchise. Maximize the players, regardless of what you think you're supposed to do by the book. Cut the dead weight before another season is lost and fans lose interest in September. EE is "Ew!" Or for emphasis "EEw!" /end rant
    • But nobody is saying he is a good deep ball passer.  But the facts are since he's returned from his benching, he has been throwing downfield.  Whether you want to credit the scheme, Bryce himself, or whatever, he has been pushing it deep.  Not to any positive results mind you, but it has been happening.
