So, who watched the pilot?

 

I thought it was good start. "The Penguin" "The Riddler" "Poison Ivy" and Bruce Wayne were all introduced.

 

man I hope Jada Pinkett Smith was wearing some make up to make her look that way. Good thing penguins eat fish...

 

And the guy playing Jim Gordon is channeling his inner Russell Crowe.

They said they will tease the Joker the entire season and bring him in next season. Multiple "possible" actors will be teased. The first of course being the comic.

 

The Penguin was GREAT. Wonderful job casting and acting. Hope we see more of the Riddler soon.

 

Catwoman sucked though. Little ninja girl with goofy goggles.

 

I didn't even connect with the comic being the Joker....maybe it was too obvious.

 

 

and I forgot all about Catwoman,

Yes, yes it was. This thread was started a week late.

 

I wasn't feeling last night's episode. Love the Penguin though. Riddler too. I wish he got more time. Interesting tidbit: the guy that poured the wine in the club to the crime boss, then got beat up, was called Lazlo. I did some Googling and there is a Batman villain named Professor Pyg (real name Lazlo) who is super crazy and wears a pig mask. Well, if you saw the previews for next week, there is a dude in a pig mask!

 

Cat ... girl's eyes are WAY too far apart. It's creepy.

 

She was cast in part because how much she looks like Michelle Pfeiffer..

I thought the second episode was less campy than the first. I like the casting of the show a lot. So shipping the kids to asia, is that a raz aghul (sp?) thing?

 

Ra's is going to be the Arrow big bad this season but apparently these shows take place in different universes. so maybe they'll have two versions on tv at the same time.

      I thought he was from watching him play and also doing his first HC job. I thought he was the real deal  Apparently what happened is Kraft committed to Mayo and I don’t remember the timeline exactly - but Vrabel was unemployed at the same time Belichick was unemployed. They both were fired (or out) after the 2023 season.  Kraft hired Mayo. Who was kind of an obvious disaster. He probably already had the deal in place but I will give Kraft credit for not sleeping. With Vrabel out there for 2025 he made the move he needed to make and if it hurt Mayo’s feelings then oh well.  I guess you can tell I am not fond of Kraft but that was a really savvy move. At his age, pretty good. Still has it.

      It’s going to feel like a home game for the bills. There are so many of their fans that live down here now, and many of them have never seen Allen play in person since their last visit was 8 years ago. It didn’t matter for the cowboys game, but it might here. I think we likely lose a close one. Probably a questionable flag or two that doesn’t go our way. X factor for Buffalo will be Kincaid and Knox. If we do win it’s because we get ahead and play keep away from Allen. FYI- I have many friends who are Bills fans that are fed up with Beane who we all revere and think is the one that got away. They feel like he was great to land Josh but has done a terrible job of building around him (especially at WR) and rely on him to become super man to win- sounds kind of familiar, like the last time we had a franchise QB.
