SG. Hendo will be a great 6th man and MKG needs to start for defensive reasons. I'd still trust whatever decision coach cliff makes.

Henderson is a great role player and glue guy. He is a poor starter and would be a terrible 6th man. The 6th man needs to be a scoring punch and spark off the bench to lead the 2nd unit. That isn't Henderson.

if that was the case Henderson shouldn't even be on our roster.

Torn on this one. If MKG's shot is still horrific I'd be fine with Lance at the 3. Hendo would be a fine 6th man if he'd be more aggressive and stop taking fall away jumpers and long 2's. If he's your first option off the bench playing against the opposing second string, and is aggressive driving using his athleticism, then he would be a good 6th man. It's not like our bench options are any more explosive. My main question is, unless Lance gets a lot of burn at the 3, who is backing up MKG?

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
