Panthers take Chris Ogbonnaya off the street and put him on the roster

After his first game he has as many touchdown runs as DeAngelo, Stewart, and Tolbert combined this year.

Somebody needs to call in 730 this week and bring that to Hurney's attention

Somebody needs to call in to Marc James down in Atlanta just for shlts and giggles.

No no guys we should hear him out I mean why pay like $500,000 for a mediocre running game when you can pay $15,000,000 for a pathetic running game?

Hell Hurney could have at least screwed up properly.....draft Forte in the 2nd(he went 1 pick after our original 2nd) and not trade away the first.

poo imagine if he had drafted Brandon Albert 1(2 picks after Stew) and Forte 2......

Thanks for hearing.

I of course hope we could save that much money and use it somewhere necessary, but I hope we could watch more games of our new guys before giving up on our 1st team running back group.

I understand the post, in my opinion our OL plays better this game on running blocking and I hope they can keep doing so.

60ish yards rushing and 3ypc.....they suck and that certainly isn't any better than week 1 for example

    • People apparently forgot that offseason. Stafford and wife met with McVay in Mexico the offseason he moved. McVay convinced him to leave. Stafford went to the Lions and had a very emotional meeting in which he said he wanted to leave. They obliged based on his time there and the compensation offered(which included Goff). It was a very amicable split. People in Detroit still revere him to this day. He has been open about his affinity for them, as well.
    • going from High school to the pros would be incredibly easy
    • Smitty was a 3rd rounder.  I’m not really saying draft one high at all, 3rd being higher than I have in mind for this year. I am completely with the people that say ‘enough’ high picks on “weapons for Bryce”. Enough of that. Don’t want a weapon drafted early, Yet Again.  For that matter I wish we weren’t forced to address LOT because I want linebackers and big guys. And OL depth in the mid to late rounds. Maybe some late insurance at RB. A QB if the right one is begging for us to snap him up.    But looking at the WR room and believing Moore is sort of redundant or maybe even not a great fit,  and then just recalling the numerous calls for a burner, I was only really saying what I think would be the best type of addition.
