The closer alot of these big name guys get to free agency the more likely they're going to want to test the market. Either way, I just want this to get done!

We essentially have Cam for three more seasons, before he could even think about free agency. We'd just have to use two franchise tags in a row.

There is no news here.

 

This report came out this summer after CK signed his deal. Someone in the Newton camp (probably his agent) or someone in the front office passed the word that Cam was looking for a more traditional contract structure like those of Flacco or Cutler as opposed to one like CK and AD signed.

 

That's all this is, in spite of the incendiary thread title.

Wait so "Dollar Store Dave" is going to hand out a $158MM contract?

Isn't that kinda the opposite of what some people on here think of DG?

CBA says you have to spend 90% of the cap. We're not using it on Oline or DBs, so it's gotta go

somewhere once the RB contracts are up, right?

      In a lot of ways it makes sense to just draft a tackle early so they have flexibility with icky's injury and Motons not getting younger. I'd love for them to resign BC cause to me he looks pretty good anywhere they put him

      Rods the one who needs to go if they don't win a cup soon, Overall I like the way Tulsky operates, do i wish he had pivoted to several smaller moves instead of going all in on a big acquisition? Obviously.   But RBA is the one I'm locked onto, he is too stuck in his ways and if if "his way" can't get somthing done he just triples down and proves his insanity by trying the same stupid crap over and over, the facebook casuals will be like but but but 8 years in a row making the playoffs.... yes we'll guess what we should have at least a cup to show for it, yes only one team wins every year but this year will be the 8th consecutive year making the playoffs.... heck none of us even get excited about that and haven't in four years minimum.  Our top guys are nearing the peak of their prime the time is now, but the canes seem content to stand pat and "make the playoffs" anther 5-8 years in a row.
