Total meltdown on Falcons board

took a couple minutes to scroll there and found this gem, relating to possible future head coaches:

I would like to appoint Rob Chudzinski as the 2015 Falcons head coach for a couple of reasons.

1. Because he knows how to get the ball in his weapons hands... Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron were able to produce immediately in his offense.

2. Bill Bellichick was let go from the Browns when he was beginning to put together a good team. He took his philosophy and his staff to NE and built a resume as one of the greatest coaches of his generation. Not saying that Rob would equal/duplicate the success of Bill, but man I feel like that would be good karma.

GM - Scot McCloughan (GM of the 49ers when Nolan was coaching). He has a pretty good resume (Drafted P.Wille, Frank Gore, Joe Staley and Vernon Davis. Also helped put together LOB) and may be available by 2015 (stepped down from Seattle due to personal reasons).

These threads of theirs are awesome and somehow more negative than our board. Utterly surprising. The Falconeers thread might be the best thing I've read all day.

I would quit this board if it reached their level... every thread is "we suck" "our d" "fire smith "s jax suck" "roddy hasn't showed up in years" "but 2012" "draft picks" "we suck again".....lol

its beyond excessive

That's Horseshit I am down in Atlanta and Fox switched over as soon as the game started. I was pissed that I missed OT in our game.

this is based on their thread and responses... maybe the location in GA is the difference... btw, you got it bad bro... smh

    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
    • The fact that this is even a discussion is a testament of the level of front office badassery that's going on.
    • Not always. LT was for the Giants. So was Ray Lewis. Von Miller was moreso than Manning his final year in the season that shall not be named. It's usually the QB, but not always.
