Some words from the Giants forum

Their Defense is really dangerous still, how can people NOT notice that? Even though the Cowpatties won, Homo was injured.

Jake is way way way less mobile than romo, he could be a sitting duck, and it's not like were a great screen team.(which was one played that worked well vs them).

I could see us using the draw to some success, but ultimately I think this game will come down to our run defense, and our pass protection.

Who knows which teams will show up next Sunday. The Panthers have looked somewhat mediocre at times this season, and the Giants have too. The bottom line is that both of these teams are sitting atop the NFC for a reason. These are two very good teams.

Which one is better? We'll find out Sunday. It's going to be a slug fest for sure.

We're going to have to play mistake-free this weekend in order to win, and get possibly a turnover or two. We will need our stars to make plays, and Jones to have a great day returning the ball as well. We can win this one, but it won't be an easy one. I, for one, can't wait!

SLOW DOWN PEOPLE!

YES, we are 11-3, but that hasn't got us ANYTHING...not even a playoff spot.

Let's get our heads out of the clouds and get back to Earth.

Focus on what's at hand. We got a bit banged up Sunday and who knows, the NFL is crazy and things can turn around in a week.

on that note, GO PANTHERS!! fug NEW JERSEY JINTS!!

I have a good buddy who is a Giants fan and we've been talking about this game since halfway through the year. Told him back then it'd be for homefield, he didn't think so then.

This will be a smashmouth, down and dirty bloodbath of a game. I'm sure there'll be alot of cursing and hair pulling on both sides by the end of the night.

    • Care to elaborate why you disagree? We kicked the ball off 3 times and we kept the Browns to starting field position of the 22, 27, and 10 (would have been 21 before a penalty). All 3 of those are successes with the modern kickoff rule.
    • Its August so obviously quality options are not there. The question is whether any improvement can be made to the bottom of the depth chart.
    • NFL has a huge amount of parity.  The talent level between most NFL starters outside of the top 5 to 10 guys at a position is very comparable.  2020 worst teams Jacksonville Jaguars - 1-15 (worst record in NFL) New York Jets - 2-14 Cincinnati Bengals - 4-11-1 Atlanta Falcons - 4-12 Houston Texans - 4-12 Carolina Panthers - 5-11 Detroit Lions - 5-11 Philadelphia Eagles - 4-11-1 Los Angeles Chargers - 7-9 Denver Broncos - 5-11 2024 Worst teams New York Giants - 3-14 (tied for worst) Cleveland Browns - 3-14 (tied for worst) Tennessee Titans - 3-14 (tied for worst) New England Patriots - 4-13 Carolina Panthers - 5-12 Jacksonville Jaguars - 4-13 Las Vegas Raiders - 4-13 New York Jets - 5-12 Chicago Bears - 5-12 Arizona Cardinals - 8-9 Bengals, Texans, Lions, Eagles, Broncos and the Jags have all made the the playoffs in the last 3 years. What I'm saying is it's stupid to argue when team is the worst when there is so much parity and the system allows quick turnarounds.
