I don't really post a lot on Facebook, however, my question is, does anyone notice the uptick of violent videos posted?

In the past few months, I've seen decapitations, suicides, maulings and children getting run over by vehicles. WTF is wrong with Facebook? When did this change?

It's not that I can't stomach watching these videos but why are they there to begin with? If they can allow these type of videos, she should allow nudity. My 2 cents.

You must have some really cool FB friends.....

There is a algorithm  that actually posts things that it thinks you are interested in by what you like, view, or comment on. It aint FB

I don't post I just use it to stay connected with family members. I just don't understand how death in society is ok but not nudity.

I haven't seen anything like that recently posted, although a year or two back I did see a video posted of some kid jumping off a cliff to dive into the ocean below, but instead of hitting the water, he went face first into a cement dock below, his limp body falls into the water and blood starts engulfing the water around him...  The video then shows some guy (which likely isn't the same guy) laying on a hospital stretcher with his face split completely in two and each time he breathes, as he is still fully conscious somehow, his split face shakes and vibrates.  It was disgusting, and it bothered me for days to weeks after.

On a related note though, one of my friends was tagged by someone else I didn't know in a video they posted that was straight up porno.  It showed full on intercourse, then male parts ejaculating all over a completely naked woman.  I was angry because this was when after one of FBs updates where it automatically started playing videos on the news feed whether you clicked on it or not...  The fact that you didn't click on it and yet, anyone could walk up and see that, is unacceptable.  So, I immediately reported it to facebook -  the first and only time I've ever reported anything on there...

Weeks later, I get a notification from FB saying they reviewed my complaint and the accompanying video and concluded that it DID NOT violate their terms of use, lol.  Are you serious???  I have women friends from high school who have had to create new accounts because someone reported them for showing too much cleavage.  And yet, FB allows people to post straight up porno on other people's pages or news feeds?
